Idrial glanced back toward him and arched a brow in confusion. "Are you jesting? I cannot get this boat into the harbor." She glanced toward the land then back toward Vilik, hoping against all odds that he was joking. Getting out of the harbor had been one thing, but she was almost certain that she could not get it back in.

Vilik sat down on the railing and gave a smug grin as he crossed his arms. "Consider it part of your sailing lesson. It not all that hard, just aim for the dock." He glanced of towards a few menacing rocks jutting out of the water in front of them and then down at the water before looking back at Idrial with a smile. "It'd be a shame to get your new clothes all wet, you'd better get busy"

Idrial watched him for a minute, deciding that he wasn't joking. Then she scooped her hair back from her face. "Vilik, I can't do this!" She protested, folding her arms. But when he didn't budge, she moved off toward the helm, a pouting look upon her features as she tried to remember what he'd taught her before. She shot him a brief glare before reaching for the contraption.

Vilik laughed as Idrial shot the evil look his way. He sat watching her untill she took the wheel and then went to giver her a hand. "Steer it a bit more to port...wait, straighten it up.. no... there thats it.." He shot Idrial a serious look as they neared the docks. "You know, if you don't get the sail down we are gonna hit that dock with quite a bang."

Idrial let go of the wheel and looked toward him with folded arms. "Well, help me then!" she retorted with frustration, pushing her hair back from her face as she glanced back and forth among the tasks she was to perform. Her eyes wandered toward the dock, then she glanced to Vilik.

"Alright, alright... no need to snap.." he retoted and smiled at the frustrated expression on her face. "You get us to the dock, i'll take care of the sail. Sound fair?" Without waiting for her reply he his way to the mast and let the sail down, then hurried to the bow to catch the dock when they got there.

"Sorry," Idrial replied simply as she went about the tasks she was to perform. Soon the boat drifted up alongside the dock, and Idrial offered the faintest hint of a smile. She folded her arms and stepped back looking over at the dock, then to Vilik with a satisfied expression. "Land hoy, Captain." She arched a brow smuggly and waited for him to respond.

"Indeed it is! Quite the keen eyes you have there sailor! A fine docking as well if I do say." Vilik climbed the railing and sprung onto the dock, taking breiff look around before turning back to Idrial with a smile. "Won't you accompany me into town, m'lady?"
