"So, is that it? Are we satisfied with this outcome or would we rather brave the dangers of that monster's lair again under heightened security?" Ash asked the whole group, although mostly aiming his question at Aragorn. To him it didn't really matter but he was interested to hear what the others thought.

Idrial forced herself to push away from the wall, not wanting seem as though she were lagging behind in any way. "I certainly do not wish to go back in there." She stated simply, knowing the fact to be very true. Her brown eyes leapt from person to person as she waited for someone else to speak as well.

Vilik looked back and nodded in agreement. "Anyone who heads back goes without my help. I've seen enough of this fortress, I don't need a quided tour of the dungeon as well."

Saemon saw the other leaving and tried to keep up with them, which was quite hard, because he got cut off from the others by a group of haradrim. They blocked his way out and it looked pretty bad for a moment until he hew his way free and gave heels. He noticed the other in the hallway and yelled: "Run! They are behind me!"

Aragorn led the other down the hallway through several twists and turns, to a place near the little hole where they had first made entrance into the fortress. Their pursuers had lost their way some distance behind, and for a moment at least the party might take a few moments' rest in peace.
"Well," said Aragorn to Ash, "For myself I would know much more of his secrets ere we depart: his plans for Middle-earth and such, but I doubt the others would wish to travail this fortress any longer. All right, there, Vilik? A nasty bump to the head that was, and thou'rt bleeding Idrial - is it painful?" He took a clean cloth from his pocket and offered it to her, and appraised Saemon at a glance, seeing that he was relatively unharmed. "So, whither shall we turn our ways now?"

Idrial sighed and rested herself once more against one of the fortress walls. Oh to be able to sleep. She glanced up when she realized that Aragorn was talking to her. "Yes, it is painful. But I will survive." She quickly snatched the cloth from him, muttering some form of 'thank you' before tucking it into the pocket of her cloak. The maiden did not yet want to change the dressing, for fear it would start the stronger flow of blood once more. And if she lost anymore...it could not be good.
Idrial was glad when Aragorn suggested that they turn their path elsewhere. The fortress of Gurherdir was not a place she longed to be.

Vilik heard Aragorn's statement to Ash of wishing to learn more. "If you are not satisfied with what information you have gathered, then by all means stay and chat with the staff a bit more." He rubbed his head, which now felt fine other than a dull pounding and he looked at Idrial and her bound wound. "She is not fit to stay and fight, nor to flee alone. If you want to go back in, do as you must. If we flee and you stay, the guards may be confused enough to give you an advantage." He turned to Saemon, "You'll have to make up your mind as which way to go."

"'Twould seem to me that ye are aware of our true names, but know little enow of our purpose. The monster within these walls hold destructive and evil plans for fair Middle-earth, which must be explored to be thwarted. That was our reason in coming to this god-forsaken half of Arda, and that is the only reason why I am reluctant to depart with but little learned. Idrial is wounded and thou'rt clubbed, this I know well, and if ye twain absolutely refuse to explore further, then we shall consider that. I would hear my Elven comrade's thoughts."

Idrial listened as her own path was decided by Vilik. Under normal circumstances, she might have protested, claiming she was well enough to travel on her own or even to go back inside. But right now, she was too tired and hurt to care. She slid down the wall until she was sitting upon the ground. Her head was leaned back, resting against the stone as she closed her eyes for a moment. Let them decide what they wanted to do...all she wanted was sleep.

Vilik listened to Aragorns tale, "Well, then, I wish you luck in your endeavor, though, I don't see of what help I could be to you, seems finding the plans of this creature would be a task better suited for you to do alone. When I leave I'll see what I can do to decieve the Harradrim into thinking we all fled. I suggest you stick to the shadows until we are gone." Vilik nodded to Aragorn then tuned knelt beside Idrial, placing his hand on her shoulder to rouse her as it seemed she had alread drifted into sleep. "Come along, we are almost out of here, you'll get sleep soon enough." Vilik stood and headed into another corridor, one that rose slightly, presumably leading out of the fortress.

Idrial was startled by Vilik's sudden appearance before her, and she gasped, nearly lashing out at him. She sighed when she realized who it was. "Please, do not sneak up on my while I am sleeping. I would not wish to injure you again." She pulled herself to her feet, and looked around, grateful for the darkness of the place. She followed him along through the corridors, longing to finally see the light of day (or night) once more. "Um...I don't suppose I could ask where we are going?"

Vilik laughed at Idrial's comment as they headed down the corridor, remarking back at her as they made their way out, "And what makes you think I'd let you injure me again?! And for now I think we should just head back to that inn, perhaps we can find someone to tend to that gash on your head there." He slowed to a stop as they reached the end of the corridor. He slid silently against the wall and peeked he head around the corner. There was a single Harradrim guard posted and beyond all luck he had a horse tied to the railing next to him. Vilik drew his sword and waited for the guard to look the other way and at that moment charged him, running him through before he could sound any alarm. "Its clear..." he called back to Idrial as he untied the horses riegns and mounted. He waited for her and offered her a his hand to help pull her up.

Saemon stood a little while silent, than he grinned. "It was exciting, wasn't it? Well, I can do without excitement, but its much better to have pants and a saber and give some pain instead to get beaten up unarmed." He looked at Aragorn. "So the King of Gondor you are? Interesting. And your elven comrade here is a lordship than, too? Whow. I guess I have never been in such company. But well, if you want to stick here for a little bit longer I stick with you, if you want to leave, I leave too. Its up to you." He looked at Vilik and Idrial leaving. "Yeah, maybe its better to go, but I guess that is what the haradrim expect of us. To run may cause that they follow us, while staying a little bit longer may confuse them and make them anxious. They are wounded, can they move quickly enough to escape from the fortress? Or would it be better to find a hiding place until they feeling better? They wount find such outside, but inside there are many such places I know." he glanced over to Aragorn. "And thats not the male lavatories."

Idrial waited silently behind until Vilik sounded the all clear. She then made her way out from her hiding place and noted the horse. Their luck surprised her...they certainly hadn't had much of it up until now. But who was she to question good fortune. At first she hesitated, but then allowed herself to be pulled up onto the beast. Oh how good it felt to break from walking once more. "That sounds like a fine plan to me." The maiden said in reference to the inn. She struggled to keep focused, and to keep from falling asleep right here on the mount, but she forced her eyes to stay open. She would not stoop to sleeping here. Nay, she longed for their arrival at the inn...

Once Idrial had situated herself, Vilik dug his heels into the horses haunches and they were off. He rode around the fortress looking for some way to cause a clamour. As he rounded a corner there was a stable with camels and horses. As he passed it he swung his sword sending a lantern that hung by the stables door flying into a hay loft. Soon the whole thing would be ablaze. He figured that would distract the Haddrim long enough for himself and Idrial to make their getaway as well as take a bit of pressure off the other. He pulled the riegns and dug his heels in once more and they galloped off into the night.
