It took a moment for Idrial to stop herself from trembling, but the quickly regained her confidence. "I could ask you the same question." She said with a smirk and the tilt of her head. Her eyes glanced toward the creature, Gurherdir, and a cold feeling ran down her spine. He was hideous. Even more so in his dark lair than he had been out in the light of day. "But thanks." She gasped to Vilik, suddenly focusing once more. She pulled another dagger from her belt...she'd been foolish to be without one at first. "Thought he had me." She dodged another blow from a different soldier, beginning to get the rhythm of things.

Vilik swung his sword around and caught another soldier across the chest and skewered the man through with a forcefull downward thrust of his sword when he had fallen. "You're welcome, now, see if you can stay out of trouble," He joked to Idrial. He shot a glance over to Thorongil and called to him, "I think we've worn our welcome thin. Perhaps we should be leaving."

OOC: okay, just to make it a little bit easier and quicker for Aaron: Saemon aproached (directly after Aarons last post) behind Gurherdir. Then he tried to stabb the wolfe with a knife (a few posts later) before Vilik dropped down to Aragorns feet and started to fight.

Aragorn grinned at Vilik and shrugged his shoulders. "Been waiting fer ye three ta decide to join th' party! Everyone's here, where've ye been?" He slapped Vilik's back as the fray opened, Gurherdir distracted with Saemon's blade. Aragorn waded into the fray, Anduril swinging, and now that Idrial and Vilik saw him in his true light, they stared agape at his prowess upon the field. In twenty mintues he had slain nearly three score men, for they kept a'pouring into the hall from all sides. Blood flew from his sword and screams from the lips of those he slew, and soon he neared Yoko, and with a hard blow struck him across the face ere he was aware of him. The bow of Ashuorn was singing as Aragorn leapt over Yoko as he doubled up in pain, and took aim straight for Gurherdir, his boot flying into his teeth as he came from his leap, and Anduril swinging as he neared.

Vilik saw now that Idrial was indeed correct in her assumption that Thorongil was one in the same as Aragorn. He had no choice now though, but to help him slay the Harradrim. At least he was consoled by knowing there would come a decent bounty for his services. After battling through a group of about five soldiers he was again standing next to Idrial. He smirked and muttered under his breath, "Well, it seems you were right after all."

Idrial glanced up at him, trying to catch her breath from all the dodging and fighting she'd been participating in. "I...told you." She murmured back, glancing up at him. "But I do not understand him. If he truly is the King...why did he not just slay me in the street when he had the chance." And with that she was gone, slipping around the blow of another Haradrim and lodging a dagger into his side. Looking toward Vilik she smirked. "I think I'm getting the hang of this."

He looked curious at the question, "What cause would he have had?" A guard rushed and Vilik hacked off his arm, making the man fall to the ground screaming. They were holding their own against the swarming Harradrim soldiers, but, he didn't know how long they could possibly last. They needed to get moving. He looked to Thorongil, "Can we hurry this up a bit??!!"

Idrial glanced to Vilik with a confused expression on her face as he posed his question. "Cause for what?" She wanted to say, but suddenly she remembered the words that had proceded from her own mouth. Oh dear. "I am nothing but a common thief." She stated simply, hoping that would sum it up enough. After all, it did for her. She glanced toward Aragorn as Vilik yelled to him. The maiden sincerely hoped that this would all be over soon.

Gurherdir walked around the room, dodgeing as many attacks as possible, and stood against one wall. A giant cage stood suspended above him waiting to drop should he depress the lever at his right. "Come Aragorn, engage me one-on-one if you dare."
Ashuron took aim and knocked a torch from its placed on the wall with an arrow. He picked it up and held it ready to burn something if they were in need of a hasty retreat.

Saemon slipped on the ground and missed Gurherdirs waste for some reason and the wolfe walked away. But he jumped up to his feet again, nodged an arrow to his crossbow and shot the chains of the cage, hanging over the beast. One of the chains clang and rupted and the cage slipped into a steep angular, so it wouldn't be able to fall down like supposed but crash on its side when Gurherdir would press the levers.

Vilik continued fighting, taking notice of the large cage hanging above after Saemon shot at it. He made his way to the edge of the room where the cage would not hit him if it fell, cutting through two more guards as he pressed forward. After he skewered the second of the men he turned his head just in time to see club of another soldier swinging for his head. He had no time react and the blow knocked him back into the wall, which he slid down in a daze.

Saemon loaded his crossbow again, but before he could focus on target a large haradrim apeared in front of him and swung his fist towards Saemons face. He dived away and rammed the man with the shoulder and slammed him the crossbow sidewards against the head. The arrow released by the hit swirrled away and Saemon couldn't see where it flew to, but the soldier grunted and dropped down to the ground. With a look on his crossbow Saemon noticed that it was damaged and throw it away, but he could get up the saber of the haradrim on the ground and spun foreward in battle. Saemon was never a lucky fighter, but even clumpsy and unhappy, he was not lacking all skills. He cut through the foes and tried to get closer to the other member of his group. Within the crowd it was nearly not to make sure who was who and he just hoped not to hit one of them, during his fight for his own skin. Finally he saw Vilik, laying at one wall and a haradrim swung his blade for a deadly stroke. Saemon cryed and spun foreward, cutting the foes arm right before the blade hit its target and with a turning twist he sliced through the chest of the enemy.

Aragorn apprised the situation with swift glances about the room, all the while dispatching foe after foe, and saw Vilik fall. There was little hope left in this endeavour, but at the least they might retreat with grace. Aragorn swung Anduril in a heavy swing about his head, decapitating five foes and clearing a wide space, and from his belt he flashed his elven knife. This he sent with unerring accuracy straight for the lever near Gurherdir. The heavy grip of the knife struck its target and depressed it, and with a rumble, the cage which had Gurherdir collapsed down toward its ownwer. Ashuron took the hint and with a well-timed bowshot sent the chandelier crashing to the ground, and the lights all went out. There rose a howl from the Haradrim as the party excused themselves, Aragorn stooping to take up Vilik and carry him away. Speed was theirs, and ere long they found themselves again in the hidden tunnel.

Idrial was glad once they had found their way back out of Gurherdir's main chambers. She had been tired and wounded when the fight had begun. Now, she leaned against a wall, collecting herself and her breath as she watched the others. Her eyes held concern when Vilik was carried in by Aragorn, but surely he would be fine, so she pushed the thoughts from her mind. Her own head throbbed, and she could feel the wetness of the blood soaked cloth. But, at least now they were further from harm.

Vilik came to, suprised to be on Aragorn's shoulders. He pushed and jumped off, landing on his feet, "I can walk, thank you..." He looked around, noting that everyone was there. He rubbed the side of his head where the club had hit him, it would leave a nice lump, but otherwise it was fine. He saw Idrial leaning wall as the others continued to flee, "No time for resting, lets move!"
