Vilik stopped and let her catch her breath, asking more questions as they paused. "If you've had this inclination that he is the King since the time you met him, it still dosn't answer the question of why you follow." He looked at her with and raised a brow as a thought occured to him. "But perhaps those hatefull glares you send his way answer the question for you..." He listend to what she said about not wanting a confrontation. "If we don't go after them, what do you suggest we do?"

Idrial's breathing slowed a bit, but she continued to lean upon the wall for support. Her eyes glanced toward him quickly as mention was made of her agenda toward the king. "It does not matter for what I seek him...I cannot accomplish my task now anyway. He would kill me easily." There was bitterness in her voice as she spoke. "If you wish to follow him, fine, lead on. I know not where else we would go except for back to Saemon. I simply am stating that I will not hold up in a fight...I am dizzy enough on my feet as it is."

It was as Aragorn had suspected. The yokoing fellow had evidently rounded up a mass of yokoing followers, all dressed fairly similarily, though with cloth masks rather than wood. At least a score of them stood around the large room, each making small noises in the back of their throats and lightly clicking their tongues like so much fowl. It sounded as though a million quiet frogs were in the room, and Aragorn's eyes widened quite a bit. There, in the back of the room, stood their main quarry, chortling his yokoish laughs at them, though he did not see Ash high above him with his bow.

A great BANG! in the lower level sounded through stairways and doorways and in an instant the guardians of the entire section of the fortress were on move downstairs in a hurry.

Vilik grinned. "So, revenge was your agenda! But, for what?" He shook his head. "You do know even if you were to accomplish what you seek to do, it would spell your certain doom. You would become the quarry of every soldier in Gondor." He looked back in the direction of the kitchen and then forward in the direction of Thorongil and Alagos. "If your right about who he is, I'm in no rush to go follow. Nor am I in any hurry to run back to Saemon, besides, I think he knows his way around this place. So, shall we wait for them here, or head out of this death trap?"

Idrial jumped at the loud noise coming from down the corridor, and her heart began to race as she heard the angry shouts of the guards. "That fool!" She cried, closing her eyes and sighing in disgust. "Now what!?" She could not fight against a soldier now...much less the many that were beginning to swarm through the halls. Her head throbbed and she longed to lie down and let herself die.

Vilik's head jerked to peer down the tunnel when the noise sounded. "Well, waiting is no longer an option. We go! He didn't wait to disscuss it nor to see if any of the guards had decided to inspect the passage way they were in. He grabbed Idrials hand and pulled her along as he took off down the hall, past the place where they'd split with Thorongil and towards the exit of the cursed fortress, offering her a look of appology if his grip happened to hurt, though he knew she wouldn't be able to move quickly without his help.

Idrial was startled by the sudden movement as Vilik jerked her along at a fast pace toward the exit. And she had thought walking was difficult. They made it through the exit of the building, and into the dense bushes in which they'd hidden earlier. It was here that Idrial collapsed. Her breathing labored, a moan escaped her lips as the loosened bandana allowed a rivlet of blood to roll down her cheek. "That fool..." Was all she was able to murmur.

Vilik turned to watch if any Harradrim guards had followed them out of the fortress. After a few seconds it seemed they were clear. He looked back to Idrial just in time to see her colapse onto the desert sand. Apparently the wound was worse than he'd realized. He kneeled over her and took the blood soaked bandage from her head, tossing aside. Having nothing else to use as a bandage he cut the sleeves off his shirt, folding one up and pressing it against the cut and using the other to tie it in place, this time with enough pressure to stop the bleeding. He moved behind her and dragged her into what shade the rock outcroping and bush could give and propped her up to keep the blood from rushing. He stood and peered back at the fortress, all he could do now was sit and wait for the cover of night or the return of the others.

Idrial's eyes fluttered open as she was dragged toward the shade. The movement had been an interruption to a dream, or an old memory. "Don't touch me!" She cried, wrenching herself from his grip, and hitting her hands upon the earth. Leaning against the rock, she realized what she'd done. The maiden pulled her knees toward her and rested her chin upon them. "Forgive me," she whimpered, looking like a child cornered in the dark, "just please don't hurt me." She shook her head, suddenly realizing where they were and who she was with. "How did we get back here? Where's Saemon?"

He looked as she regained consiousness, ignoring her hissing. "Saemon is still in there somewhere," he remarked nodding towards the fortress. "We ran after he made one hell of a bang that sent the guards pouring through the place. Or don't you remember?" He motioned at her head, "You took a nasty little fall inside, do you even recall that?"

OOC: Wow, you all have been busy while I was away.
Ash placed an arrow on his bow and fired, spearing one of the Yokolings through the neck with his arrow and sending it falling to the floor. Yoko and the remaining Yokolings pulled out two daggers each and, spinning them once on their fingers, leaped at Aragorn, slicing wildly in a whirlwind of blades. Another shot from Ash's bow sent one Yokoling's dagger flying across the room and sticking into the floor.
"Hold!" a dark voice snarled from the doorway and there stood Gurherdir, golden eyes, four legs, black fur, and all else. "Go and tell your Lord Murazor that he shall recieve payment for your services soon," he said to the Yokolings, continueing the dillusion that Murazor was also the enemy of Gondor and Yoko and the Yokolings fled from the room.

Idrial touched a her fingers gently to her head, pausing briefly before answering. "Yes," she said with a slow nod, "I remember." The maiden leaned back against the stone, closing her eyes for a moment as she inhaled. "Do you suppose we should go back in and find them...or help Saemon?" She composed herself, color rising to her cheeks in sudden embarassment at her situation. Vilik must think her a complete idiot. Or a nuisance...or both.

Vilik shook his head, "I don't think you need to go anywhere right now. Least of all back in there." He looked up at the sun, it was getting lower in the sky. "It'll be nightfall in an hour or so, it'll be easier to walk without the added pressure of Harradrim sun on your back." He looked back at the fortress. No one had come out, and he cursed them under his breath. "If they don't come out soon, I'll have to go in after them." He looked down to where she sat, "Think you'll be alright while I fetch them?"

Saemon had opened the door silently and was slipped inside of the room. There were indeed four guardians, sitting near a fire and laughing about something. The room was only lightened by the fire and one torch near their seats, so Saemon could sneak into a dark corner, grinning to find a whole rack with crossbows right at his left hand. He took one up and notched an arrow to it. The silent clique wasn't heard by the guards. Saemon walked quietly along the wall and saw them better now, the entire floor was made of wood. The fireplace was surrounded by stones and in a little distance with a huge kettle hanging over it. And the guards sat in front of a hatch in the ground with a ledder leading down there.
Saemon looked for the chain of the kettle and noticed that it was old and corroded, easy to cut by a single arrow. The angular was perfect to free the huge iron thing from the wall, so it would swing right against the guards. He smirked and prepared to shoot. In that moment one of the guards looked up and saw him, starting to yell and all four jumped to their feet. Saemon released the arrow, hit luckily the chain and the massive iron kettle crushed into them. The chain broke completely and the entire thing hit to the ground and broke through the wooden floor. One of the guards managed to jump out of the way and hold himself at the upper edge of the opening hole. Saemon had no time to load the crossbow again, he just run out of the room, heading along the corridor, away from the stair he used to go to this level. The sound of the crashing kettle stirred up the guardians and Saemon jumped into a closet to let them pass. Than he run to the direction they came from and climbed a stair up. The stair was longer than the one he used before and he got tired after a few turns, but than, he suddenly reached the top and stood directly behind Lord Gurherdir.
