E'vesash smiled, and let out a soft laugh at his words. Hopefully they were absolutely true...and she believe with all her heart that they were. "It has been a nearly perfect day...hasn't it? I wouldn't change a thing." She replied honestly as her emerald gaze met Legolas'.

Legolas watched her for some time before answering. "And so we begin our long life together Evy... Walking on, hand in hand, neither one before the other..."
Legolas embraced her lips with a tender kiss. The music had stopped, and all had departed, leaving the couple together...

E'vesash slipped her arms up about his neck, drawing herself further into his kiss as a hush fell over the garden as evening came ever nearer. Her heart beat rapidly within as she realized the truth of his words. Together. Now they would be together.
When finally she was released for a breath, she met his gaze and searched it. "Even now it is hard to believe this is so. Hard to believe this is real." She whispered.

E'vesash could scarce contain the happiness that was welled up inside of her. One hand she placed upon the side of his face, the other came to rest upon his shoulder as her emerald eyes met his once more. "Is it not amazing," she finally said, "that after all this time of being apart...we have finally come back to one another forever."

Legolas smiled, filled with a happiness beyond measure, sitting with her...together... He had longed for this day, dreamed of this day, waited for this day... Long as it had been, that time seemed to slowly pass away like a drifting fog. As he sat there with here, their eyes meeting beneath the gentle rays of the moon's early course, he remembered a similar meeting long ago beneath green trees...
"Forever indeed Evy... There's nothing more that I can need...besides you... I am complete now..."

E'vesash smiled and gave a slight nod. "And for that I am glad." She whispered only just now realizing that the garden was empty of all other occupants except them. She laughed at her slow reaction to that fact. "It seems we are the only ones left to enjoy this party." The elvish maiden smiled and brushed her fingers against the point of his upswept ear.

"Nay." E'vesash breathed. She placed her hand lightly atop his and smiled to him briefly as she leaned forward to place a kiss upon his lips. "Nay, it does not."

Legolas smiled, holding her hands tightly as he felt her soft touch on his lips. He watched her emerald eyes dance with delight, and he put his arm around her, holding her against him.
"And now...no we're married..."
He said it as if the realization had only just occured, and that he hadn't considered it until then...

E'vesash laughed and leaned back to look at him in confusion. "What? Of course we're married." Her smile widened and she shook her head. "Though I myself am only just beginning to fully realize that fact." She traced her fingers lightly along his jawline as her emerald eyes watched his own.

"You suppose?" E'vesash pulled back with a mock seriousness. "You only suppose?" She let her hands drop to rest upon his shoulders as her emerald eyes searched his. Finally, she could hold her seriousness no longer, and a smile once more graced her lips. "I hope you more than suppose."
