Arwen aproached, walking with swift steps and saw Master Gimli sitting. She smiled and went towards him. "Master Gimli, I am happy to meet you again. I see, you come for the wedding of our good Legolas and his beloved E've. Who else is arived? Do you have acomodation or want me to arrange something for you? You must be hungry and thirsty after the long ... ride with your steed. " She noticed the pony and bit herself onto the lips not to grinn. "We have prepared something, if you like red meat and beer." Now she smiled whide.

Gimli quit his words as he saw the lady Arwen come towards him. He was struck with wonder at her beauty, such as he had never seen except for that of the lady Galadriel. And yet...somehow...they were quite the same, in appearance and speech...
"Oh my... This is a fine day indeed when the dwarf is treated as a king by being welcomed by such fair folk... I will answer your questions presently lady Arwen... First, no, I have no accomodations at present. Second, I have seen no others except myself coming yonder. And third..."
At this Gimli's mouth began to water, as he thought of the red meat and good ale served at the citadel...
"I would be more than happy to help myself to some refreshment...if your ladyship would point me in the right direction..."

E'vesash gave a single nod. "For that I am glad. I do not know what I would do were you to change you mind." She smiled and reached out, briefly touching his face before she glanced back over her shoulder. "I should probably go to prepare...others will be arriving soon and waiting for the ceremony to start."

Doren had been strolling through the White City that fine Winter day. It was warmer than most other days and seemed to be Spring. It was as if the Valar had blessed some joyous occasion with good weather for never had there been such a beautiful day during such a cold winter. As he began to ascend the stairs of the second level of Minas Tirith he found the sweet aroma of Winter flowers. Perhaps they were fair Anemones, beautiful and fair flowers found in Ithilien. Doren smiled and followed the scent when a white pavilion came into view. It was obvious what was taking place. He walked towards the pavilion and saw that the dwarf lord Gimli was present aswell as King Elessar and Queen Undomiel. Obviously this wedding was of high import to the people of Gondor. Doren walked to greet his friends and took note of a tall noble elf and a beautiful maiden. He thought he had seen her before and then in his mind he could see the white shores of Nenunial and a beautiful elven maiden with green eyes.... Lady E'vesash!
Doren walked towards the couple and bowed to them smiling at the elf lord and then looking to E'vesash. "It has been to long, Lady E'vesash. I have looked forward to the day we next met and it seems that it has arrived. Are you being wed?"

Legolas smiled at Evy, turning to see a newcomer approaching... It was Doren, whom he had only recently seen in the Citadel during his conversation with the Lord Aragorn. This man seemed to be of a like appearance to the lord. He was tall, and his walk was brought about by large strides, similar to that of the king.
From his words, it appeared that they both knew each other, but Legolas waited for E'vesash's reply...

E'vesash glanced back and forth between Legolas and Doren, finally allowing her gaze to land on the new comer. "Umm...yes. I am being wed." She paused for a moment, seeming to place the man, but she could not. "You will have to excuse me," she said with a forced laugh, "you seem to know me, but I know naught of you." She tilted her head curiously before glanced back up quickly toward Legolas. Evy was not afraid of him, nor angry - just...confused.

Arwen had showed Gimly the way to the dining room and came now to greet the young bride. She saw Evy standing with Legolas and Doren and joined them, smiling at Evy and squeezing her hand. "I am so glad for you," she said and kissed her on her cheek. Than she noticed, that she interrupted a discussion and raised the eye brows. "I am sorry, I didn't meant to disturb your conversation." She turned to Legolas and smiled. " I wish you two all the best for your marriage. I am so happy you found each other."

Aragorn had crept upon the group at unawares, dressed in his finest, his robes from his coronation, and now patted his old comrade Legolas upon the back.
"All the best to thee and thy beautiful bride upon thy joyous day, good my friend!" said the King. "Long hast thou twain awaited with happiness for thy wedding day, and now it is upon thee! All the thanks in the world for the honour bestowed upon me by reading the vows of union."

He shook his head, a smile brought forth on his face as he turned to Arwen and Aragorn. "My thanks my lord and lady. Your presence here today is greatly honored...though I had hoped to see Gimli... Perhaps he will arrive before the time comes..."Legolas then turned to E'vesash. "Come Evy, let me take you home so you may prepare yourself. We have precious little time left before the ceremony..."As Legolas led Evy away by the hand, a smile crept across his face as he spoke in a hushed tone... "See Evy, there are several besides myself who consider you a good friend... Doren, Arwen and the lord Aragorn are quite pleased to know you... I said before, there were certainly others who care for you. But tell me, how is it that you came to know Doren? Our paths have crossed before on occasion, and he is surely an honorable man..."

Doren turned as they walked away for a moment and thought that perhaps he had said something wrong. How was it that she did not know him though? Perhaps she did not recognize him. It was evening that Summer day in Annuminas and she perhaps had no memory of him due to the dim light. That was all.
Doren walked to Aragorn, Gimli, and Arwen with a grin on his face and bowed breifly to them. "Good day. It seems that a joyous event is taking place in Minas Tirith. the mood of the city is indeed lightened."

"A joyous occasion indeed. I came here to to rest after my many travels but it seems that is not the only event of interest taking place in the White City. A joyous day indeed."

E'vesash nodded with a smile to the others and allowed herself to be lead away by Legolas. She heard his question and pondered it for a moment, trying to recall having ever seen the man before. "I do not believe that I do know him....I don't think I've ever seen him before." Her brow furrowed for a moment longer as she thought, but she could recall nothing and shook her head.

"Ah, cousin! It is meet that thou shouldst be here, that the Dunedain of both the South and now the North may wish well to one of their greatest allies. Now, whilst thou art within my White Walls and Winged Towers, shalt thou partake of the Trial of Lords?"
{Little hint there, LOL.}

Doren thought quickly wondering what he would say. He wanted to have some fun while fighting under the guise of Ilius but did not want to seem so bold as to simply turn down King Elessar. "I am participating in a Trial of my own. Perhaps soon but at the moment I am just here to relax. Who knows. I may fight in it sooner than you think."
