E'vesash was quick to shake her head. "Nay...do not speak such nonsense." She said with a slight smile as she watched Legolas carefully. "Though you need have no fear of not recieving my undivided attention...for it is yours already."

Legolas smiled as he leaned forward, setting a kiss across her dark lips. He then looked down towards her, speaking softly, "You'll always be the most beautiful woman I see Evy... Whether your thoughts are on me or not... though I believe that you love me truly, as I love you. So it shall be. My attention is yours as well."

E'vesash smiled. "Good, then I have no worries." With a soft laugh she rose from her seated position. "And, now that I am sure you are truly alright...we do have this matter of wedding preparations to attend to..." she sighed and looked out to the business outside of the pavillion, a business she wished were over as exciting as it was.

Legolas smiled, rising with her, holding her hand as they walked out of the pavilion.
"Well then my dear, elighten me on the subject with which you sought me out..."

E'vesash looked about her as they walked along, noting everything that was taking place. In fact, that was all she had been doing the past couple of days. "I am at a standstill in my progress. I do not know what to do. Do I send invitations out, or let people come as they will? What else needs to be done?" Evy bit her tongue to stifle a yawn, and said nothing else as she waited for Legolas' opinion.

Legolas nodded in agreement, pondering what should be done.
"Well Evy, I have few to whom I know that should be called forth to the ceremony, only my dearest friends. But you...are there any you would wish to come? Besides those whom we invite, I believe a general invitation would be fitting, to all who desired to come..."

E'vesash paused for a moment, finally shaking her head. "No...I know no one that would wish to attend. Your idea is fine." When they continued walking again, Evy's mind continued spinning in many different directions...too many different directions. "Are you sure everything is going to be ready?" She asked, then her face took on a slightly worried expression. "What if I've forgotten something? Oh, and the food...the food is being prepared, right?" She rubbed her fingers briefly against her right temple as she became somewhat overwhelmed. Planning a wedding was certainly more difficult than she'd first expected.

Legolas laughed at his fiance's anxiety, holding her hand firmly, watching her expressions constantly changing, and her face reveal her weariness.
"Evy...you need a break... Let me take you home, and I'll come back and finish the preparations. Hmm?"
Legolas' eyes showed a sense of concern for her, a pleading that she ease herself of her cares...
"Well Evy? I promise everything will be ready..."

E'vesash glanced up at him, a sense of relief showing on her face. But she finally shook her head. "I cannot leave all of this to you. It would be unfair." She smiled. "I don't want you to be weary too." She tilted her head back to look up at him...unable to make up her mind. She wanted to go and rest, but she also wanted to stay and help Legolas with all that needed to be done.

Legolas watched a smile form across Evy's lips, and he returned it with one of his own. She was willing to stay and help him, but what she needed was rest.
"Evy, what good will it be if you finish the preparations, only to sleep through the wedding tomorrow?"
Legolas laughed softly, shaking his head, "Nay, I will stay and finish with the preparations. I am revived, and will be more than able to accomplish what has yet to be done. Let me walk you home. It will be beneficial for you to sleep peacefully."

E'vesash finally consented. "Alright, I'll go...but only if you promise not to sleep through the wedding." She laughed with him for a moment before falling silent and allowing him to walk her to her place of rest. And once there, sleep she did. It was a fulfilling sleep that kept her all the way until the morning of the next day. When she finally awakened she realized what the importance of this day meant. Even still, she hated to move herself from such a comfortable place.
(Wow...sorry for the bad post...too much thinking, lol)

(What was bad about it?)
Legolas slept little that night. His mind seemed to continue its motion without ceasing. Every second was filled with emotions and feelings, such that he was overwhelmed and found himself wandering aimlessly about the city.
It was a long night, and in the dawn he found himself sitting alone, under the great pavilion once more...

When E'vesash finally did rise, there was definitely a sort of excitment inside of her. As she wandered about the area, she found that Legolas had kept his promise, and everything was in about as perfect of order as it could be. Evy found him once more where he had been sitting the previous day, and her brow furrowed. "You are not having doubts are you?" She asked with a worried tone. She cast a quick glance over her shoulder at the sun...people would soon be arriving and she had not yet even changed into her gown.

Legolas looked up in surprise, a smile crossing his face as he saw her... His face illuminated in the midst of her beauty, and he rose, taking a parting glance at the altar before turning towards her...
"Doubts? Nay... I could never have doubts about you Evy...though...I cannot help but feel...enlightened... It is an experience that all must face perhaps...some more than others... But doubts...never..."

Gimli made his way in the White City, riding astride a pony, grumbling as to the foul conditions in which one must ride abroad... After entering the great fortress, he proceeded to the Citadel, where he was informed as to te wedding of Legolas and E'vesash. Sitting down upon the hard stone seats of the Citadel, Gimli waited impatiently for Aragorn to tell him when the time for the ceremony would be at hand...
