Legolas smiled, feeling a sense of pleasure in being able to help her. He wished he could do so much more for her...but what he could accomplish to aid and comfort her, he would do.

E'vesash smiled and shook her head. "Now that's not true." But she left it at that, and said nothing more about it. She folded her arms loosely and sat down upon the edge of the wall, careful not to lean in a particular direction. "I cannot wait until all of this is over with." She said and laughed softly.

Legolas laughed, sitting down beside her, following her gaze out over the city...relaxing for once in the course of the day...
"Yes... It does seem to be rather daunting does it not? But most things worth fighting for are a struggle..."
Legolas turned to E'vesash, his eyes catching the light glancing off the dark green light set before him...
"But you are worth fighting for Evy...no matter what the price..."

E'vesash smiled and bowed her head slightly. "I am honored." She said, then raised her gaze to meet his. She had never known such a feeling of being cherished by anyone. Such a thought boggled her mind...but then, maybe she did not need to understand it...

E'vesash nodded once and offered him a genuine smile. "Good...because I will follow you wherever you lead." The maiden folded her hands in her lap and turned to face him, meeting his gaze and holding it while she awaited a response from him.

E'vesash felt their head touch lightly and she reached out, resting her hands lightly against his chest as he held her close to him. "I wish I had words to say...but I can think of nothing now." She said simply.

Legolas gazed down into her bright eyes, now shining a brilliant green in the light of the night...
"Neither can I... So let's not say anything..."
Legolas leaned forward, embracing her lips with a soft kiss.

E'vesash leaned against him, returning his kiss softly. She slid her hands up and about his neck, drawing herself closer. The night closed in around them, but it did not bother her. For in the arms of the one she loved, nothing could harm her. She took Legolas' advice and said nothing, for now she could not even break the silence if she wanted to...

A sigh of contentment escaped his lips as Legolas held his beloved in his arms... They were so alike, and yet...so different. Each balanced the other in manner and thought, keeping the other in check. They were perfect...made for each other...two that would never be seperated, not even if the Valar willed it...

E'vesash smiled and looked up at him as she heard his faint sigh. She leaned against him, resting her head for a moment upon his shoulder as he held her close. "I fear that at this rate I will never make it to my bed to sleep before dawn arives." She murmured into his ear before laughing softly.

Legolas smiled, laughing quietly with her as he danced his fingers across her back, feeling the warmth of her slender frame in his arms. "Perhaps it would be best to escort you home then? It will not be so terrible for me to suffer a few hours without being in your presence..."

E'vesash shivered slightly at the tingling feeling down her back. "Especially since we will soon be wed." She laughed and gave a slight wink. Evy kissed him once more before leaning back slightly and looking him in the eye. "Whatever you wish to do." She said simply.

Legolas smiled, returning her kiss and gazing into her soft eyes. They were quiet now, neither dancing in excitement nor alight in fire. "Perhaps it would be better to feel the embrace of sweet sleep before tomorrow. Come, I'll walk you to your rooms before I depart to prepare my business before tomorrow."
Legolas led Evy down the city walk to her dwelling before departing to take care of his affairs that needed to be set in order before tomorrow's wedding.
