An Evening Stroll

[E'vesash]

E'vesash smiled softly, glad she had made somewhat of a right decision. "Then let it be done." She turned back about to see him face to face, allowing both hands to come to rest upon his shoulders.

[Legolas]

Legolas smiled, holding her tightly in his arms, feeling the warmth as he ran his hands down her back.

"Well...then...what is there to stop it from happening? Why not make it within the week?"

[E'vesash]

E'vesash smiled at his suggestion and nodded slightly. "I think that sounds like a fine idea." She felt his hands as they moved upon her back, her emerald gaze locking with his as she attempted to think of something to say that would break the silence. " I believe that I love you, Legolas." Was all she could manage to come up with.

[Legolas]

Legolas smiled, gazing into her soft eyes, dark and yet, mystical, "And perhaps...in some way...I have come to love you E'vesash." He said with a smile.

[E'vesash]

E'vesash pretended to be hurt, pulling away from him slightly...though she could not hide the smile and laughter in her eyes. "Only in some ways?" She grinned. "Mayhap you should not marry a maiden you are only partially committed to." She tilted her head.

[Legolas]

Legolas smiled at her, ambling towards her, not bothering to put his arm around her, as he teased her, his eyes showing his pleasure.

"And why not? Why wouldn't I learn to be fully committed to her?"

At this, Legolas turned his gaze away from her, setting his hand down firmly against the stone wall overlooking the city.

"After all..." Legolas turned his head slightly, catching her glance for a second, "Anything is possible."

At this, his eyes flashed, a bright gleam of brilliance, perhaps revealing a slight thrust of energy, or simply a peculiar idea.

[E'vesash]

"Ah, yes...I suppose that is true." E'vesash stated as she watched him move away to the edge of the stone wall. She tilted her head and raised a brow curiously as he glanced her way with an odd gleam in his eye. "What? Why do you look at me so?"

[Legolas]

Legolas smiled, giving her the same odd look again, teasing her with it.

"And what is wrong, with my...look? Is it wrong for a man to look at the woman he loves?"

[E'vesash]

E'vesash folded her arms, watching him in half curiousity and half confusion. Her lips parted as if to say one thing, but she quickly closed them again and turned from him. "That depends." Was all she said, as she raised her chin in the air defiantly...though a grin tugged at the corners of her mouth.

[Legolas]

Legolas slowly walked towards her, watching the quaint expression of her face as she spoke.

"very well then. Would I be allowed to kiss her?"

[E'vesash]

E'vesash glanced in his direction for a brief moment before she turned her gaze forward once more. "Hmm...of that I am not sure." She folded her arms and seemed to ponder the request for a moment before she met his gaze. "Yes, mayhap that would be allowed. Maybe..."

[Legolas]

Legolas slowly moved towards her, embracing her gently in his arms, giving her a firm kiss across her soft lips.

"Now...would something as such be permitted?"

[E'vesash]

E'vesash smiled and gave a slight nod, as she leaned back to better view his face. "Yes...I guess it would." The moonlight glinted off her emerald eyes as she watched him with curiousity. She still had not figured out his odd look from earlier, but for the moment it did not matter.

[Legolas]

Legolas smiled, watching the lights of the pale sphere shining in her bright eyes. They glimmered like an imperishable fire, hot and brilliant, piercing his eyes in their bright gaze.

Legolas watched a slight smile form across her lips, and he felt a nod of approval meet her words.

"Well then, I am glad it met your expectations E'vesash."

[E'vesash]

E'vesash laughed softly, glancing up briefly toward the stars before returning her gaze to meet his. "Now, now...do not get vain." She was glad that her race was able to experience extreme joy, for that was certainly what she felt right now. Her right hand moved up slowly to tuck a dark strand of hair behind one ear, before resuming its place on Legolas' shoulder.
