Vilik watched as more Harradrim seemingly sprouted from the desert landscape and started to wonder how many more would be comming. He had half a mind to make a run for it, but not knowing wether any Harradrim would follow him, he decided it best to just stay and fight. Without much of a plan Vilik ran head first into the men that surrounded the tall fellow, hacking away three of them. When he turned again he saw Gurherdir and grimmaced at the sight before taking a swing at the beast.

Aragorn gave a yell when he saw Vilik break the chain of smelly Haradrim, and blessed the man for getting him away from the close quarters with Gurherdir, who appeared to be in dire need of soap. And perhaps a toothbrush. At the moment, however, Aragorn was more occupied with his claws, and he took advantage of Vilik's surprise to wade in with Anduril swinging, careful not to lose his guard, however.

The man looked capable of dealing with Gurherdir on his own so Vilik quickly turned his attention to the other Harradrim guards. He plowed into one, knocking the guard down the rocky dune and turned, swinging his blade as he did so to catch another guard right across his mid-section. Shooting a glance back to the man fighting Gurherdir he yelled out, "I have a boat not so far from here, we should make a break for the coast."

Aragorn dealt a withering blow to Gurherdir, then ducked beneath a swipe of claws and kicked upwards, trying to knock his opponent off his feet. He heard Vilik's voice and turned not about, but with his eye still bent on Gurherdir he called back:
"Aye, permit me to deal with this flea-bitten ruffian, and we shall be off!"
He rolled backward away from Gurherdir, and immediately upon coming out of his roll he leapt full and high into the air, flipping over Gurherdir as he did so, and slicing at him three times while in mid-air. He landed full and sure upon his feet and beckoned to Ash and Idrial to follow. The three set off after Vilik.

Vilik plowed through another Harradrim and set out jogging westward towards the coast, he glanced back and saw the other three following behind and slowed a bit to let them catch up. When the tall one caught up with him he turned his head, "My boat is stashed and ready to go, about a leauge from here." An arrow whized by his head as he spoke and he turned back forward, running a bit faster.

Gurherdir turned around and began walking back to his fortress, but then stopped and gave two hand signals to his soliders. The first was to dispatch Yoko, Guardian of the Desert, after the intruders upon his lands, and the second was to have the pirate Marcus captured and thrown in the dungeons, after all, Aragorn's party had escaped when it had been Marcus who had led Gurherdir to them. That and Gurherdir was in a generally foul mood. Yoko ran off, running in between shadows of rocks and anything else so that he could not be seen by those he followed.

Aragorn brought up the rear of the party as they neared the coast, turning every now and again to hack the legs from an oncoming guard. Ere long they reached the boat of Vilik, and climbed aboard. They weighed the anchor and set off; Aragorn turned to Ash and Vilik:
"And now what shall we do? Turn back we cannot - we must continue, but with a little more stealth this time, please?"
He gazed darkly at the shore, and though his eyes seemed to tease him, he saw a glint of yellow flitting here and there among the rocks, and with a nauseous turn he caught a muffled Yoko, yoko! from the shore, and he cursed loudly.

Vilik picked up a jug of liqour and took a sip before lifting his shirt and pouring some of the liquid on the gash at his side. He grabbed an old rag and tied it around his waist to cover the wound and shot a glance a the girl who had given it him. "I'm glad your aim isn't any better.." he laughed and then turned to the elf and the man. "So, who are you folks? And why on earth is the King of Harad so bent on killing you?" He set a course for the boat and tied the rudder in place with a rope. then found a place to sit, which wasn't easy considering the vessel was probably designed to carry no more than two men at a time.

"It appears as though the scallywag pirate whom thou wert chasing had a mind to betray us, the poltroon. Although, I did try to cheat him, so he had cause. But mainly for gain, I expect. More gold, again. We are...my name is Thorongil - this is Alagos and Idrial. We have a mind to travel in Harad, and it seems we have inadvertently earned the wrath of the lord of these lands. But who art thou, and why so keen to save us?"

Yoko continued his run between rocks, every now and then checking to make sure he was still following the wretched creatures who had dared enter his desert. As good at hidding their tracks as they thought they were, Yoko would always be a better tracker. From within his mask, Yoko took three deep sniffs of the air, and caught a slight sniff of fish, yes, these people who came from the sea stank of fish if you knew where to smell. Yoko continued on.

Idrial offered a half smile to the man whom she had unintentionally wounded. "My apologies for that." She motioned toward the gash he had just tied up. She listened to the conversation of the others for a few brief moments longer before moving a short distance away and turning from the group as she sat upon the boats railing. Then the pain in her arm began to throb more consistently, and she gripped it with her opposite hand, a cringe coming to her face as she touched the tender skin. But no, she could handle it. That's what she told herself. Idrial had faced worse pain before...and not all of it physical.

Vilik laughed. "Don't you know its not wise to cross a pirate? Seems to me there must be quite a price on your head though if it was Marcus' intention to hand you over to the King. Anyway, my names Vilik. And sticking my neck out for others is not somthing I do often, I just figured I'd have a better chance at making it with you at my heels"

He turned to Idrial when she spoke to him, and looked down at the cut. "No harm done, I've had plenty worse than this." He noticed her gripping her arm and nodded towards it, "How's the arm?"

Idrial glanced toward him, surprised slightly by the fact that she was being spoken to. At his words she glanced down toward the arm she was gripping and shook her head. "It is fine." She said hastily, clearing her throat as she glanced out across the water, attempting to keep the wound from view. The elf and the man already saw her as a burden...she did not want to appear any more so.

Vilik glanced back down at her arm. "Hmmm, fine eh..." He grabbed her wrist, lifted her arm and slid her sleeve back, revealing her cut. "You're gonna want to take care of that, Harradrim don't exactly keep their blades clean...." He picked up the bottle of liquor again and quickly splashed some onto her arm before she could jerk it back. He dropped her arm then and tossed her a rag to wrap it with.
