Aragorn snarled at Gurherdir and his wretched claws, blinding his mind to the sting of them, but used the tight grip upon his arm as leverage to flip clean over the oncoming claw. The spin upon his wrist proved too much for Gurherdir, and with a growl he released Aragorn, who came out of his spin in a roll and leapt up, advancing upon claws with sword, the light of the young morning catching in his blade as he charged, first swinging to the right, but then spinning about at the last second and swinging high at his head from the left, while he kicked low at the leg.

Vilik reached Marcus before he made it to the elf and grabbed his shoulder pulling him back while sliding a dagger into his side. He slid his hand into Marcus' pocket and took the pouch of gold he had seen the others pay him earlier. He daggled it in front of Marcus' face and smiled. "Now we're even..." He spun Marcus around and gave him a good kick, sending him tumbling down the hill towards an oncomming Harradrim. Putting his dagger away he pulled his sword and looked around, no knowing who might come at him.

Idrial fought her way through the small crowd. How had this happened? Mere moments ago, they were sleeping contendedly upon the earth. Now they were upon that same earth, but accomplishing an entirely different task. One she was not over fond of. She dodged the blow of on oncoming soldier and found herself face to face with Vilik. Believing him to be another of the Haradrim, she lifted her dagger, swinging it swiftly and powerfully in his direction.

Vilik turned with his sword ready when he came face to face with the girl. He half let his guard down, not expecting an attack from her. He was just about to turn to face whomever else might attack when he felt the girls dagger slice into his side opening a shallow but stinging wound. Her attack broke his concentration for a split second and the next thing he knew a Harradrim had charged into him and sent them both rolling onto the ground.

Idrial was just as unprepared for the charging blow of the Haradrim as Vilik was, and was also caught in his wake. Having been behind Vilik when the blow was delivered, she was caught beneath him as he fell to the ground. She attempted to push them away, but two grown men were a hard burden to move. "Get off me, you fool." She groaned to Vilik as she supported herself with her elbows.

Marcus fell all the back down the hill, landing face first in the sand. He pushed himself up to his knees with one hand while holding the bloody wound at his side. He spit out a mouth full of sand and looked around quickly to see if anyone was comming at him. Everyone else was now atop the dune so Marcus took his chance to run, however slowly due to his pained side, heading back to the port.

Vilik Looked at her for a second and muttered sarcastically. "My appologies..." He then noticed her dagger that had been knocked free in the fall laying next to them and he grabbed it, "These things are dangerous..." He pushed up quickly and rolled with the Harradrim, lodging the dagger in the mans throat before he quickly found his own sword on the ground.

Gurherdir leaped backwards. "Why are you here, inferior being?" he asked Aragorn, and ran forward, thrusting his fist forward with only the index finger extended, so that it could bury into the King's flesh and then act like a hook and cause more damage coming out.

"I am here because I smelled a great stench all the way to my city, and wanted to see what it was. And here it is before me! Or is that the scent residual from thy bitch of a mother?"
Aragorn managed to lean back perfectly in time for the claw to pass over him, within an inch of his face, and then he flew up into a perfect backflip, kicking Gurherdir's arm high away, and coming down surefooted and on his guard, ready to take what next he would be offered.

Idrial reached her hand out as he rolled away, attempting to retrieve her dagger...but he beat her to it. She closed her eyes and let out a sigh as he took it and lodged it in the Haradrim's throat. The maiden was about to snatch up the weapon and stop Vilik from gaining his sword when a sudden thought hit her. If he was one of the Haradrim...why did he just kill one of his fellow men? Idrial lowered her dagger slightly and looked toward him in confusion. "Who are you anyway?"

"Fool! I have no mother! Only a father, the great and powerful Morgoth." Gurherdir gave another hand signal to his soliders, and then a less polite one to Aragorn. Two archers came up behind the ranger King, and shoot arrows at him while Gurherdir performed another mad rush towards his hated enemy and gave a flurry of claws.

"Vilik..." He grunted as he sliced through another charging Harradrim. He then looked back at her. "Perhaps now is not the best time for chit chat. You people do have some plan to get out of here, do you not?!" An arrow flew by his head as he spoke and he turned with and annoyed look and charged at the archer who fired it, slicing the mans arm half off as he tried to nock another arrow.

Ashuron gave a huge sweep of his broadsword, tearing the heads of two Haradrim who had joined the battle, and then leaped up, kicking their two bodies which fell to the ground. Ash looked around, seeming pleased with himself before rushing off to join in another part of the battle.

Aragorn grinned at Gurherdir's mastery of sign language before his sharp eyes caught the whistle of arrows behind him. He swept Anduril blindly behind him in a skillful move, and amazingly caught both of the arrows and snapped them with his blade. But he must perforce defend against Gurherdir's attack as well, and raised his arm with his stout bracer of studded leather. The studs deflected a piercing stroke, but the leather would not withstand the edge of the claws, and now Aragorn had several deep, flaming gashes down his arm. He went down easily with Gurherdir atop him, but took the wolf's weight and turned it upon him, continuing Gurherdir's flight with a hefty shove of legs that sent him flying above and behind Aragorn.

Gurherdir rolled a few feet before rising to his feet. Then serval Haradrim appeared and formed a circle around Aragorn, swords drawn. The King of Harad let out a ululating howl before saying, "Surrender Aragorn, King of Gondor, and the only lives I will take will be those of you three intruding rats, or that is to say you will be fed to some of my favorite pets, I'll watch, and everyone will in general have a good time. On the other hand, if you don't surrender, I'lll kill you now and burn every village, town, and city in Gondor to the ground!"
