E'vesash nodded, glancing up at him with her piercing emerald gaze. "I agree with you completely, my love." A smile formed upon her soft lips as she returned her head to its position upon his shoulder. Such a secure world she had as of late...when she was with him she felt that nothing could harm her...nothing could reach her. Her eyes closed as she nestled herself against him and released a weary sigh.

Legolas felt her form as it drew near to him. His eyes closed slowly, and he sat in peace as the wind flew through the room... It was perfect...every moment with her was... To ask for anything more would be cruel...to ask for less...was unbearable... A smile appeared on his face as he sat in silence. They had forever ahead of them...and even now he didn't know what to do... What were they in for?

E'vesash listened as the soft breeze floated through the room, ruffling the curtains and billowing them about. In such a peaceful scene as this, her mind drifted and the land of sleep claimed her. Resting lightly against Legolas' form, her breathing became more rhythmic as she dreamt of wonderous things...though none more wonderous than the day had been.

Legolas felt his mind craving for sleep. He opened his eyes slightly, only to reveal Evy, asleep at his side. With a smile on his face, Legolas drifted off into sleep. His relaxation continued throughout the night and the billowing of the wind lulled him to sleep... As he slept, only one thing came to mind. Evy...Evy... It was what the one thought he slept with...

E'vesash awoke from her slumber the next morning, just as the first rays of sun were beginning to filter into the room. It took a few moments before she finally realized where she was. Her beautiful home. She glanced next to her and smiled as Legolas' slept on. Silently, she slipped away from the couch and looked around, nearly laughing. Merely feet away in the adjoining room was a large and comfortable bed...and they'd just spent the entire night on the couch. She shook her head and moved toward the dining area, certainly there was something in here to eat.

Legolas awoke some time after E'vesash. His eyes opened to behold the sunlight pouring into the room. After rising and glancing about slowly, he made his way out onto the balcony. The city was already alive with the bustle of the merchants and shopowners. Below the banners of the Citadel were flapping in the wind and dancing in the light of the sun. It was a glorious day, and so it should be. Legolas then turned suddenly, scanning the room inside. Evy... The thought only occured to him then. She was not to be seen...

E'vesash searched around the dining area for a bit longer, finally able to come up with some edible breakfast. After a few more moments of silence she thought she heard a sound coming from the main room. Stepping out, her eyes immediatly spotted Legolas on the balcony. "Oh, you are awake." She smiled and tilted her head.

Legolas smiled back, taking in her appearance as he moved across the room toward her.
"I am indeed my dear. I was so exhausted from so many sleepless nights, that I do believe I fell asleep on the couch..."

E'vesash smiled and draped her arms about his neck as he drew near. "Do not worry," she said, "I am guilty of the same." She placed a brief kiss upon his lips before glancing up to meet his gaze. The elf maiden then nodded her head back toward the kitchen. "There is breakfast if you desire it," she whispered.

Legolas smiled, returning her kiss with another, watching her eyes with delight.
"I would indeed Evy, thank you..."
Legolas made his way to the kitchen, finding a type of sweet bread which he ate. The sun was bright now, shining into the room through the open space. Its warm rays were a joy to feel and it seemed to bathe the entire home in its light.

The elven maid waited until Legolas had finished his own food before she approached him once more. After all, she had already eaten. She leaned her elbows upon the table top and rested her chin upon her fists. "So, kind sir, what is on the agenda for such a fine morning as this?" A smile tugged at the edges of her lips.

Legolas smiled back, leaning forward in a manner like to hers, also placing his elbows on the table as he sat, content to watch her.
"Well my lady, I believe it might be worth enjoying the day with yourself, if you have no other pressing errand to attend to..."

Evesash offered a curious smile, combing her fingers through her hair before once more placing her chin upon her fists. "Oh, I think I might be able to fit you in." She looked down at his empty dish and scooped it up. "If you're finished with this..." The elven maid carried the plate over to a washbin in which it would be cleaned later on. Then she returned to her previous position. "So...are we to stand here all day staring at each other...or are we going to actually accomplish something?"

Legolas opened his mouth to answer, only to be interrupted by the loud blaring of horns. His gaze turned slowly out towards the balcony from whence he had come. There his steps were led until he stood upon the edge of the space. His eyes turned to the North, and from there came the sight of what he had dreaded. Host upon host of fouls black ranks marched in step to the drums of the enemy. They had come...
Legolas turned back to his wife and his voice was cold and pained. "Evy...I must go..."

E'vesash followed his gaze out across the landscape, to the view of what approached. Her green eyes darkened as she took in the foul sight. She spun about quickly to face him as he spoke. "Allow me to come." She stated simply. "I am an elf, like you. I have skills that can be of use." She followed him to the doorway, awaiting his response.
