Vilik swung his sword quickly to parry Hador's blow then turned the blade and slashed upwards at a slant and then back down at the same angle. He took the dagger and flipped it in his hand, catching the blade so he hurl it with speed at Hador's head.

Hador kept parry Vilik, but when his foe grabed for his dagger again he raised his sword and thrusted it foward in a sharp angular, aimed for Viliks face. The hurled dagger just met in time the same hight with the steel of his blade and with a sirring clang it went off aside somewhere. Hador grinned and let two swift strikes toward Viliks neck follow.

Vilik ducked the first swipe at his neck and jumped backwards to avoid the second swing. He pulled his other sword and grinned at Hador as he charged back at the man, swinging one sword to meet Hador's blade while at the same moment thrusting the other forward at his chest.

Hadors armor was broad and the thrust didn't went through the metal, but scratched down and cut into the junction at his waist and left a bloody sign. He felt the cut, it wasn't a serious wound, but Hador got in rage, raised his blade and aimed a heavy blow against Viliks waist as a payback.

Vilik turned to avoid Hador's blade but it was too late. he felt the sharp steel bite into his side and he winced in pain for a moment. He looked into Hador's eyes and saw the amussed smirk the man had knowing he'd hit his mark. Vilik's eyes furled as he locked eyes with the man. With all the strength he had in him he brought his blades over his head and swung down in a cross at Hador's neck. He could feel Hador's blade still in his side and knew he would not be able to raise it in defense.

Hador felt his sword stuck in Vilik and kicked his foot into his foes belly to free the blade of him. Viliks sword swung down on him, but in the struggle it failed its destination a little bit and cranked over the steel of Hadors armor, leaving nothing more than a bloody cut. With a furious grunt the Guardian raised his freed sword and charged from downside up towards Viliks throat.

Vilik stabbed at Hador's leg as the guard kicked his stomach, he then brought the blade up to meet the blow towards his throat. Vilik took in a deep breath then and charged back at Hador, giving two slashes at the man's head before lunging at his abdomen with his second blade.

Hador parried the slashes against his head, but the second blade of Vilik went right through the junktion of his armor and right through his entire body. First there was no pain, just bewilderness and finally the loss of the bloodpressure made the guardian collapse and drop to the ground. The pain rushed into him like a fist in his face and he ghasped.

Vilik watched with relief as Hador collapsed to the ground. He snatched the blade out of Hador's gut and stood over him, fighting to not lose consiousness himself. When he caught his breath he looked down at Hador. "You're finished," he remarked in disgust at the man then lifted his blade, binging it swiftly down on the back of his neck. He watched as the the lifeless body fell forward into the dirt then turned to make his way back to the boat.
It took him nearly a half hour to make the ten minute walk to the docks. It took quite an effort for him to climb aboard and just as he reached the cabin he collapsed, to weak to even call for help.

Idrial had just gotten herself under control when she heard a scuffling sound from behind her. Expecting Vilik simply to be moving about behind her, she was quite surprised to see him collapsed in a heap upon the deck. A gasp escaped her lips. Placing a hand over her mouth, Idrial rushed to Vilik's side. "Vilik," she murmured his name, rolling him over quickly so that she could see his face. The maiden quickly found the source of his troubles as she noted his blood stained side. Quickly, she pressed her hand to the wound, looking about for something to bandage it with. Unable to think of anything but the pain he must be in, she tore part of the hem from her skirt. She wadded it up and pressed it over the wound. "Vilik," Idrial whispered again, "can you rise? I need to get you downstairs onto the bed." If he could put forth a bit of effort, she could help him down into the cabin.

Vilik came to, a little disoriented, when Idrial rolled him onto his back. He made an effort to speak, but only managed to cough up some blood. When she asked him to stand he gave it a go, but fell back before he was even to his knees. He did manage to right himsef and lean back against the side of the cabin. He was still losing alot of blood from the deep gash at his side, though he no longer had much feeling to the entire left side of his body. After a few deep breaths he looked up to Idrial and managed a smile. "You'll no longer need to be worrying about Hador." He would have said somthing more perhaps, but he passed out again before he had the chance.

Idrial tried to help him up, but watched with worry as he sunk back to the ground. She bit her lip, tears falling down her cheeks as he coughed up blood. She barely even heard his words. "Vilik," she cried, "what do I do?" She smoothed his hair back from his face, glancing anxiously toward the door that led below deck. This was all her fault. Vilik couldn't leave her now. Idrial waited a bit for the bleeding to slow before she went quickly down below. Rumaging through some drawers, it wasn't long before she came up with a needle and thread. Reappearing above deck, she looked at Vilik's face. "I don't know if you can hear me," she said, "but I don't mean to hurt you." The woman gently eased the fabric of his shirt away from the gash, and wiped the area with the torn part of her dress. Then, ever so carefully, she began to sew the wound closed. She had not lived in a family of seven and learned nothing. When she was finished, Idrial touched his face once more. "Vilik, can you hear me?"

Vilik drifted in and out of conciousness, half aware that Idrial was stitching his side. He took few deep breaths and made an effort to stay awake. He smirked and gave a shallow laugh as he watched Idrial sewing his side, but paid for it with more coughing, expelling more blood as he did. "You just don't pass on the chance to stick me with somthing sharp, do you...," he tried to joke and make out as if the wound was not as bad as it looked. When she finished the stitching he took her makeshift bandage and held it tight against his side. His mouth was dry and after several more breaths he managed to ask her for water.

Idrial tore another small piece from her skirt and wiped the blood away from the edges of his mouth. Tears continued to slip from her eyes, but she tried to surpress them. It would help nothing. At his request she nodded and rose. Water. Where would they have put water? Rushing down below deck, she poured some from the pitcher on the table and carried the mug up to Vilik. Gently, she propped his head up on her lap and eased the glass to his lips. "Take it easy." She murmured, not wanting him to choke on the liquid. With her free hand, she caressed the side of his face.

Vilik took the water eagerly, though it caused him to choke and spit the first sip out. He then took the mug and drank the rest slowly, letting the his hand and the mug fall to his side when he finished. The lightheadedness that had been plauging him subsided, but only to let the rush of pain start pulsing through his body. He grimmaced and rested back against the wall for a few moments before getting control over the pain. He felt Idrial's hand on his face and he looked up at her. He smiled and felt his heartbeat slow to a somewhat more normal pace as she sat at his side. He reached for her hand, holding it gently where rested on his cheek. "Thank you, Idrial."
