Sophianna made her way to the throne room, seeking out her lord as she brought a report to him that his army was ready. She had been out training with them nearly all the day before and today. Sure, she was tired, but it was the job of a Security Minister to keep that hidden. "M'lord," she said, bowing as she entered the throne room, "the troops are trained and ready for any command you ask of them."

Valdrik nodded, pleased with this news. "You have shaped the ranks nicely, Sophianna. Your efforts are to be commended. You are no doubt tired from the constant trainning as of late. But, I fear rest will not come for you yet. The time has come to test the waters with our eastern nieghbor. You are to take a small troop, no more than fifty of irregulars... the barbarians. Ride into the westfold and harass the people of Rohan. I am quite intrested in what the new Queen's reaction will be."

Sophianna bowed her head slightly in response. "Aye, m'lord. It will be done as you wish." She lifted her head, seeming to be in all seriousness...but the faintest hint of a smirk glinted in her eyes and tugged at the corners of her lips. She glanced toward Valdrik briefly before exiting the room. She had much to do.

After her brief journey to Rohan, Sophianna returned to the throne room of Enedwaith to confront Valdrik with a report of what she had seen. "Greetings, m'lord. I have returned with all men in tact." Slightly she bowed her head and glanced up to the lord, waiting for permission to continue after speaking her greetings.

Alcorad's Fell Beast landed before the citadel of Enedwaith and folded its wings, allowing Alcorad to dismount it. The Lord of Mordor was in a sore mood for the Cile of Moria had not fallen for his scheme. The son of Dindaedel was more cunning than had been previously expected.
Alcorad passed beyond the citadel doors, sending angry glares at the guards doused their apprehension at his coming and without being hindered, he passed beyond the doors of Valdrik's citadel. With a scowl he addressed the Enedwaithian. "Lord Valdrik of Enedwaith, war is coming within the fold for the King of Moria, son of Angmar's Lord, has expressed his distrust to the rest of our kind and is now harboring his armies within the deep places of the world. He needs to be stopped, and Moria conquered. Already have Mordor and Angmar mustered their forces for the assult and now we wish that it be so with Enedwaith. At the coming of the seventh hour we shall press our assult on Moria under a cloud of fumes issued forth from Mount Doom. While we assult from the East Gate, we ask that you assult from the West Gate. What say you, Valdrik?"
Alcorad was furious now. The Lord of Moria was not outsmarted by even the Lord of the Deceivers himself. Alcorad did not beleive it to be in his own fault, but rather the reppercussion of Cile's obstinant nature. Either way the Lord of Moria would fall.

Valdrik was about about to speak to Sophianna but stopped as he watched Alcorad burst into the room. He listened to Alcorad and pondered the idea of going to war with Moria. "Ah, Alcorad, Lord of Mordor. I had hoped our meeting would come in better times than these. You say Angmar has made its move towards Moria as well? The father attacks the son? Forgive me if I am hesitant to leap into this fray, Alcorad, but, have you not considered that this could be a trickery of some sort? I have yet to meet the Lord of Angmar and am unsure of his intentions. It would be a great folly to fall for what could be an ambush. Tell me all you know of Morsereg Dinaedel."

Alcorad scoffed at the mere thought of Morsereg as deceiving him. "Morsereg is my brother, Valdrik. As odd as it may seem, when we were created by Illuvitar we were very much the same and he deemed us as kin. His son has collapsed the tunnels between their realms and will not rebuild them. I dub that Morsereg wants his networks through the mountains restored and as the tunnels went, so did the alliance. What do you say to my offer now? If you feel that I am incompetant, then I shall remedy this situation and seek Rhun's aid instead. Perhaps they will not be so afraid of those who live in the mountains." Alcorad's dark crimson eyes narrowed upon Valdrik and his anger began to rise. "There is no danger. Cile has naught more than the frightened mind of a child. Morsereg's son has no sway over me."

Valdrik eyed Alcorad, unammused by his scoffing. "I've no patience for your petty threats, Alcorad. I never suggested you were incompetent, but, if it's Rhun's help you want, go there and speak with their king. Otherwise, if it is as you say and Morsereg has severed ties with his son, I will participate in the siege." He gave a stern look to Alcorad. "Now, when shall the attack begin?"

Alcorad glared at Valdrik deciding that now he would need to accept his aid. This was his first meeting with the Lord of Enedwaith and already he wasn't quite so fond of him. It mattered not at the moment and Alcorad would have to hold his tongue for the time being. "The battle begins immediately." he said reprehensively. "And if it Rhun's help that I must attain then I shall. But this shall be remembered."

Valdrik smirked, but stayed calm as Alcorad was apparently irritated, which if so Valdrik could hardly care as he was a bit angered with the wizards repitore as it were. "Move forward with your plans, Alcorad. Seek Rhun if you wish, it matters not to me, however, I will take care of the Hollin Gate and storm Moria from the west. It shall be a good test for my troops."

Alcorad growled and grudgingly nodded. "Very well. I shall send word to Rhun. Rush the Hollin Gate while Morsereg and I assult from the East Gate." Alcorad nodded slightly and turned towards the door, his eyes becoming dull and the anger receding. Things would go as planned. He just needed to let them happen as they would.

Valdrik watched Alcorad leave then turned to Sophianna. "Your report from Rohan will have to wait. We ride to the mines of Khazad-Dum immeadiately. Muster the forces and we be on our way." He stood leaving the task of mobilizing the troops to Sophianna while he went to prepare his battle armor and horse.

Sophianna nodded. "Yes, m'lord. It shall be as you say." She lifted her gaze and glanced toward the door as Alcorad retreated through it. Instead of following him, she slipped out a side door and made her way toward the barracks. Sophia was not looking forward to breaking the news of their shortened rest to the soldiers, but it was their job to fight and do their duty...not to lie about all day with nothing to do.

A dark rider came alone form the north , he crossed brandywine at nightfall and came to the capitol. Since the take over of Arnor was complete he needed to make new , more reliable allies onces that saw his goal and he would unite all those hwo had there differences . Until at last he reached the gates where the gaurd opened the gate out of frear for his own life , his horse seemed to have the same fire burning in its eyes as Murazor had .
Slowly he dismounted it and it trodded off until called , and he entered the throne rooms to talk with there barbaric chieftan, or king as he heard he liked to be called these days
