15 000 Arnorian foot soldiers made there way to the lonely mountain mainy siege machines were dragged forth by horse men until finally they were within range of the mountain at thge front rode Murazor aupon his black steed given to him by the Lord of Mordor .
With a white flag he rode forth to the bridge of Erebor which stood over a 30 foot ditch , he would let them leave withouit loss or he would esecute everyone of them the hcoice was theres.

...... Yet no messenger came. All was deadly silent within the Lonely Mountain with the exception of the River Running rapids several miles southward. Birds chirped happily as a cold breeze floated by lazily, making the fridgid climate even colder. Why were these barbarians attempting to attack a realm that was shut tighter than a tomb of Angmar? Clearly, no one was here.

Murazor like stone stood waiting for an answer before he went back to the main force where he said " Bombard the gate and walls " with that the captain yelled Catapualts , and simultainiously the catapaults released there loads uipon the city rock crashing down upon the dwarvern realm.

To the average passerby it would appear that these idiots from Arnor were attacking a hollow shell! They were catapulting rock into rock, which really did nothing except make a lot of noise as the stone hit the walls.
The gate shook meakly in it's place as it was it. This was stronger than the gates of Minas Tirith (Which had to have a ten-times the amount of firepower to get it open than the average gate) so a simple barrage of pebbles would do virtually nothing. A weak little Numenorian catapult had not the force to take down the Great Gate of the Dwarves even so.

Murazors arm dropped and the barrage stopped he looked at the gate un wavering and he awaited the dwarvern responce surely they would rather not get crushed if the Arnorian force broke through.
Murazor left orders to build a tranch round the camp and fill it with spikes , with that he took flight to the west where he would meet up witht he Moria force, once there he saw a army of easterlings he soon took flight to wards them and landed infront of them.

Still nothing came. Within the stone mountain of Erebor the Dwarves stood ready, however none were to come and meet the armies of Arnor. Somehow, they would have to break through the gate if they really wished for a battle.

The Black Tide was approaching Erebor from the Eastern Slopes of the Misty Mountains. They were now only two days away from the Great Gate of Erebor.

Murazor passed by the tide that was ocming to wash Erebor away and he drifted slowly back top his own forces, Erebor was trapped .

The armies of Erebor were deployed back to the Lonely Mountain, and were only a day away. Scouts and messengers were sent out to all of her allies, and Korr was dispatches specially to Gondor on request of Orre. However the stout Maiar led his men himself into battle, bearing the Hammer of Aule.

Murazor saw the large host heading his way but itwas not the tide from Mordor but they were dwars from what he oculd tell , as fast as possible he roared to hsi commander " Turn the catapualts to the south and take aim and wait for myu command" with that the catapualts turned with difficulty int he rain to face the dwarfs who would be fairing badly wearing heavy armour in the rain .
