I've still never seen a dwaven lady character. What gives? LMFAO but you're spot-on, Corey! I might make one just on principle one day. Guys, you're completely right, and I never really gave it that much thought. I guess this is one of the few RP boards where there is a lot of diversity in the characters, and, not to sound full of myself, but that really encourages me, makes me feel like I've done something good for people. And I love your character, Raithen - completely devoid of all feeling and utterly immoral - a good opposite for some of the other characters. We've had people play seriously evil folks before (Morsereg, Sayyid, etc.), but the abandon in your character is readily evident in even the narrative posts you compose. Kudos for that! And I see what you mean about Legolas, sis. But, of course, everyone would really be swooning over Aragorn, except for the fact that he's promised, so no luck there. ;D

Yes, that was gag making, it still is on some sites,Legolas with twenty seven girlfriends and numerous bastard children! My character is blonde because well, it fitted that pic, which came first really, that artist is amazing, My interest is the Elder Days mainly, but in LOTR I found the Rohirrim culture very interesting, Anglo Saxon/Viking , it's good to read Anywn's posts as she's so immersed herself into it, and it sounds real. In fact all these posts are interesting, it's like you all wear the skin of your character over you all the time on here.

I really see what you mean about that, and at times it is true. At other times, though, we see each other for what we really are. We are a family in our own right, all brothers and sisters, and we've helped each other out through some hard times as well as some good times.

I know what you mean. the people I know on another site helped me through a gruelling time a year ago, they were the best, supportive, understanding, really helped pull me through it all. Also it helped to write and really let everything out in that way, almost therapy for me.

It really is. Easy to mask one's pain in one's character, or a better way to put it would be to say that one can take out one's anger in his posts, to personify his feelings in his character. It's odd how bonds can be developed in situations like this. I've met several people I call friends through this site, and a couple I'd call good friends. A family, as I said. And it's awesome to have you join us, dude - I can tell by the quality and the thought put into your posts that you are serious, and it's great to see that. Hopefully you'll be around for longer than just a little while. ;D

You might get me to swoon over Aragorn if he'd at least wash his hair once a month. That's why he looked so good at his coronation (though they probably had to tie him down to do it ). Hiding as your character is always a good way to destress yourself. If you have like, an eeeevil *EVIL LAUGH* character, you can vent anger, and suchforth. And nobody thinks you're seriously mad or like, overreacts on it. =P

I've been posting on sites for 5 years, it's probably one of my main hobbies so unless the house blows up and me in it, I'll be around. Yes, venting frustrations and anger into your posts - well, always write better when I'm really mad or as was, grieving, oddly, not when I'm happy. And now these sites have matured a bit, people should know, anyway, that you're not being personally horrible to them, just acting a part.

I write best when I'm posting on different sites all at the same time. =P And if I get some weird burst of inspiration and my fingers just fly. =P But getting started in RPs is really hard for me - I can't for the life of me make a good entrance, that's why I haven't RPed here before. Any suggestions?

Lol, do something dramatic! Starting off is hard, I know, your welcome in Harad, - actually, the way I'm playing Harad at the moment, is that trade is its lifeblood, so unless it's an army, any-one can go there, - mine is a longish project, starting from scratch really so I'm looking really slow there. get lost in the Great Erg desert and I'll come and find you, lol! I'm not sure he'd fancy Brad Pitt or Tom Cruise though ROFL.

Actually, I didn't like how he looked at the Cornation, all cleaned and groomed, becuase me according to "Hotness" I guess you could say, it goes FOTR-Not bad, Good looking more appealing than Legolas IMO TTT-HAWT, Espically when fighting at Helms Deep ROTK-Good start, got cleaner as things got on and by the time he was King *Sigh* What can I say, for whatever reason I like my men dirty and with a little bit of stubble. I used to hide my Ex's razor so that he couldn't shave, lol.

Everyon'e sentitled to their own opinion. Aragorn's kind of old for me anyways. =P IMO, *everyone* is better looking than Legolas. (Esp. Haldir! **giggle**)

This is really the only site I'm on - mainly b/c I don't have a huge amount of time to devote to RP, lmfao (gotta sort out my priorities...*cough, cough* World of Warcraft *cough*). But when I get inspired by an idea for a plot, I'm soaring, and I love witty and intelligent reparte, sarcastic banter and the like.

Sometimes I get inspired, like with all writing, sometimes I hit a wall, and have to plough through it. Jacky, if you would like to do some sort of Corsair thread, feel free, - my aim, at first is to establish that Raithen will rule all of Harad, eventually ( which is proto - Africa and huge so not an easy task even for a Maia with so many tribes, and fueds, ) - but for now, until he begins to pull all things together, any-one curious, or interested, can make threads there, it all adds to it, Harad's so big, and so much coastline, that there's no way Raithen could keep an eye on all of it, and say ' No, you're not allowed here. ' etc, - it wouldn't be realistic, for one thing.

Well at least you *are* realistic. I sometimes wonder where all those damn palantíri (is that right? It looks funny..) come from, when we all know they never existed.
I'll definitely wanna check out Harad. (I told Alcorad I'd RP in Mordor, but eating the unborn child really kind of grossed me out. I don't think Haradhrim do that.)

They might sacrifice children to Morgoth, I suppose, or drink blood ( I'm assuming they do still worship him/Sauron, as well as Raithen, since old habits die hard! ) But I'm sure they're more concerned with breeding kids on numerous wives than eating them. Feel free any-one to post there, it's a big place, diverse, Umbar is probably the most vice-ridden , cosmopolitan place anyway, you'd get all sorts there, I want it to feel as if Raithen is busy fighting wars, all over, you might * meet * him, somewhere, but I'm not going to tell any-one to get out, because they don't belong. I'm starting from a * difficult * time, for him, since I don't believe that any one person , powerful or not , could just walk into a place the size of Africa and say ' Right you lot, I'm your king ' 90 per cent of the people wouldn't know about him for a start, due to vast distances. Tribes might be constantly at war with others and couldn't give a stuff who called themselves king, etc, etc.
( It's all taking time, the holidays and so forth have been hectic, and we have a new lodger, and when things are more settled, I'll start with some plots, but I'll go along with virtually anything - just don't kill me, unless you ask! )
