10 000 Rider of Enedwaith entered Angrenost from the Gap of Rohan and made directly for Isengard. 4 000 archer, and 10 000 wild men came over the river Isen and joined them with loud chantings. They were going to hold a feast at Orthanc and their special guest was supposed to be already there... (( sorry got mixed up with the army count, I fixed it from 15 000 riders to 10 000 riders))

((lmao, I was waiting for someone to bring some excitement here!))
Megloren smirked, hearing word of an invasion force from a scout. "Those from Enedwaith, m'lady. An estimation of thirty-thousends strong."
Gazing out into the darkness (assuming its night), she could help but laugh. "I see... Close and reinforce the gate. Ready the Warg Riders and the Trebuchets. Prepare the arrows a'flame and position the archers on the walls." The scout nodded and left to inform the barracks.
Raven-messengers were imediately sent out to Megloren's allies, and within the hour was Angrenost ready for the assult. Along with the warriors, balista's were set every few meters between the trebuchets.

The host stoped in sight of Orthanc, but out of arrow widh from its outer walls and waited. From the top of the tower could be seen the next wave (20 000), already marching towards from the river bank of Isen. Horns yelled, men shouted and the wolfes of Enedwaith raised their howlings in blood thirst. A reinforcement of Elves and Men from Rivendell and Enedwaith stood at the gap of Rohan, 30,000 strong, waiting for command. And the footsoldiers of Enedwaith brought the parts of siege engines, to enter the outer walls. They didn't ment to break into the tower of old, just to close the doors and burn a nicely warm fire for Megloren.

The Balistas and Trebuchets along the wall were fired, their flamming contents shot into enemy lines. The Crossbow units on the walls readied their flamming arrows also, waiting for the enemy archers to be in range.
The gate was barred and barracaded, though several units of crossbowmen and the entire infantry waited behind it in the case of a breech.
Megloren waited on the walls for the seige to begin.
((Lancir, dont post one-liners in here. Thats really annoying and theres no way your going to kill Megloren. Shes an Istari and not to be a bitch, but she would obliterate him.))

((He is totally welcome to post one-liners in here. And at least he can try to kill you. LOL))
The host of Enedwaith waited for Dorlas command to attack. They chanted and hit their shields with their weapons. Today was the day, the end of Angrenosts past and a new, bloody day for its future.

Dorlas rode along the lines and ordered the foot soldiers into a turtle formation, the shields covering the men tightly from all sides. The wolfes were mixed between them, so they could come closer to the gate without many losses. Within the rows of the soldiers, a battering ramm was placed. The next wave were the riders. Swift they should ride cross and square to irritate the archers, but send atself their deadly arrows up onto the wall. Than the command was done and to Dorlas signal a horn blewed and the host moved on to the gate of the outer wall.

((Ilmare, I posted that I began the attack and my balista and trebuchets fired into your ranks... Post damage, you cant just ignore it. )) The Trebuchets fired into the turtle formation moving into place, scattering the gathering enemy units. The archers fired their flamming arrows into the ranks of those from Enedwaith, as Megloren blasted the first battering ram units away.

((Calm down, I didn't see that you already fired. And I wasn't in reach to that timepoint anyway. And I certainly don't think that you blasters all my units away in one post. I prefer to post my damages atself, thank you.))

You can't blast away whole sections. Maybe one or two soldiers, but not whole sections. It's the rules set down by Aaron. I don't care what your powers are. Think of the rules.
Edit: Oh, wait, no, you can't blast away ANY. To post, directly, Aaron's post in the 'Petition' thread: powers may be used, but, there again, be sure and keep it in True Style, and don't write the damage of your opponents. Especially in single combat (And, Ash, I've been thinking about bringing it back, but having only a set amount of ppl enter before it's over and you starting out in 1st place - that'd be cool, eh?), no magic may be used unless the fight is between two mages. So, unless you're fighting another Maia, no spells.))
30,000 of Morsereg's army came to the aid of Ilmare. 25,000 from Khand, and 5,000 from the Ered Luin. From the Ered Luin came 3,000 Doomsmen, 1,000 Axe-Throwers, and 1,000 Bûrz-Gazat. They would arrive in two days.
((The Khand guys are coming noth from Angmar, if you recall, I sent them to Angmar to protect and now they're on their way here. If you need to know what I sent from Khand, check my Khand army thread))

((Nice pieces you both, I really apreciate your suggestions, but don't make this threat more filled up with OOCs than it goes anyway. We have a nice shoutbox for that. And Thanks to Tony. And Becky, I know what you think of me and I don't care. I still post my damages atself, end of discussion))
Dorlas gave the next signal and the wild men charged for, grap the battering ramm the turtle has dropped and made for the gate, while the next turtle was keeping up behind them. The firy arrows from above struck down several men, but the main core of soldiers arrived the gate. They landed the ramm with a loud crash the first time against the outer gate. The door wings shaked, but withstand still.

The Trebuchets on either side of the gate continued to fire into the turtle formation holding the battering ram. There was no way sheilds could protect them from boulders the size of four men's heads... and it would take more then a few hits from a peice of wood to break down the gates of Numenor.
