There was forming a crowd of wild men and footsoldiers in front of the wall, while the trebuchets focused on the battering ramm. They spread out and layed ledders on the walls, while Dorlas commanded the Archers to charge up into shoot distance. On his command they started fiering volleys up to the Wall. The wild men didn't care upon the losses but grapped the ramm over and over to plunge against the gate.

The rider Looked around and and drew his sword placing his staff on the back of the warg and he walked towards the gate waiting for it to break waiting to get in so Evil would have another realm to use as it slave. He stopped beside dorlas and looked at him. "Fine amry you got there" His voice sounded astho it was spoken through a bundled up rag.

The armies of Morsereg were now only a day away, and if one listened hard enough, they would hear the chanting of the Variags.

The reinforcement of 30 k, standing at the Gap of Rohan got order to make for Angrenost. At Isengard, the gate of the outer wall shoke under the heavy treatment with the massive ramm. Even the tower of Orthanc was build by the ancient numenoreans in unbreakable stone, this gate was not and the power of Enedwaith great. The first cracks appeared in the wooden door and the men grew excited and rammed even more forcefull. Arrows flew up to the walls and down from them. Some men fell under their rain, but more charged forward instead of them and kept going. The ledders were set up and the first wild men climbed them up swift like cats.

The archers along the wall felled to the crossfire, but where, in time, replaced by more of their units. As the ladders were readied, the archers took aim at the men on them and fired. As soon as they were close, they would kick the seige weapons over, for there were many on the wall that evening...
The Trebuchets shot off another round into the turtle formations near the gate that held the battering rams.
Very carefully were the weapons of gunpower loaded into the trebuchets behind the wall. The portable bombs were fired past the gate into the enemy ranks. These were made custom to make a much smaller explosion than the ones demonstrated in Helm's Deep years ago. They were perfected into the right size of explosion as to not damage the wall of Angrenost.

Once more the ramm dropped under fire from Isengard, once more more men charged foreward to take it up again. They payed with many lifes. But the wild men and footsoldiers used even their bodies and parts of their bodies to cover themself. The siege engines of Enedwaith were ready and went foreward. More battering ramms were brought. The Gates cracks enlarged. It still stood, but its fall was near at hand.

The trebuchet-fire continued to pound into the turtle formations near the gate as the archers on the wall continued their fire into the ranks of those on the oncomming ladders and below them. Though many of Angrenost fell, they showed no sign of letting up. The infantry and Warg Riders behind the gate barred the gate even more, nailing boards to reinforce it. Every plank helped. The trebuchets beind the walls launched what seemed to be a volly of these weapons of gunpowder into the enemy lines past the gates. ((Dont forget about the bombs Those would do huge damage to your flooding army.))

The sound of the arriving 30 000 from Enedwaith and Imladris was to hear. Horns were blowing and the wild men got in exstatic, ramming the gate and finally it broke and the host entered the inner area surround the tower of Isengard. The masses of the men was huge and outnumbered the number of Angrenost to a great count. Nothing could widhold them for long. In blood thirst the wolfes of Enedwaith run into war and also the rider charged into the fighting crowd. The walls were finally beset by Enedwaith and the host charged further toward the tower.

((Thats a god mod Ilmare. I would have deleted your post, but I have a plot in mind and you all were going to win anyways.))
The war horn of Angrenost was sounded through the frey, louder than any of the horns of the enemy. Enchanted by Megloren, the horns signaled retreat. The remaining forces from the stricken stronghold through several positioned postern gates near the back of Isengard, and made for Gondor, Megloren at their head.
The stronghold of the Gap of Rohan had fallen.

The host of Enedwaith was disapointed that Megloren left so immediatly. But nevertheless, they celebrated their victory with all the goods Isengard had still in their storages. A bird came from Enedwaith and gave message to Dorlas, that 30 000 men were needed in the battle against Kili Redtears, to aid an old friend. He commanded his best captain to bring the fresh Reinforcement from Imladris and Enedwaith up to the hills. The host set free before nightfall and went through Rohan and upstream the Anduin. There was Elves and Men among them who needed not much rest and endured long distances without great exhaustment. And they made for the Iron Hills in great speed.

The forces of Morsereg retreated, they had not been needed in this battle, but that was no matter. The Ered Luin host made their way back home, and the host from Khand made their way to the Iron Hills. Their master called.
