(Im fighting Murazor? lol kk. Where do I post?)
Megloren let out a sigh of relief. "Thank you Lord Elessar, now if you will excuse me, I must be going back to Angrenost." She gave him a small bow and left the room to give word for Linnar's men to go back to their own realm.

Ilmare shoke her head, but remaind silent. She stood there and looked in the round if somebody would say anything. She was disgusted, that Megloren could leave easily after all and a deep doubt raised, that she really wanted to become like this people, who added so easily murderer and traitor into their row. With a deep sigh she sat down and waited what the final decision would cause in the opinion of the other allied. She hoped somebody would say anything against this decision, but she knew nobody would insist to speak against the High King for long.

"Well, I've had better luck gambling on horse races than getting much information out of this council. Remind me, what was the whole point of it? Ah yes, things were a bit muddled there in the middle, but I thought we were investigating Megloren, not Ilmare who brought us all the information we needed to go to war against her in the first place." Ashuron sighed and relaxed in the chair he was in. "I hate politics," he said.

Vaire looked at Arwen and whispered: "Thats all? She can walk free out of this place and nobody hold her back? She is not going to pay for what she did and get the honour of alliance with Gondor? How is such possible?"

Arwen looked concerned but waved Vaire to lower her voice. "She offered her alliance, and that counts twice or even more against the evil realms."

"So easy? Just count the worth in the number of men? No ethics? Just everything is allowed if you admit your crime and can offer your help?"

Arwen nodded. "Thats the ethic of war. Everything is allowed if you have enough power. The other oportunity would have been to cast her out, take off her realm and punish her."

"And torturing and killing of a member of the alliance, like Eomund, is not reason enough to be punished that hard? Interesting. What does somebody have to do than, to deserve such a penalty I wonder."

"Justice is an interesting concept, Lady Vaire, something which I would have expected one of Elven-blood to know well. Revenge must have no place in the unbiased dealings of justice. Slain our comrades and members of our alliance she may have, but if cast out is she and deprived of her realm, what more might she do once evil returns to her heart and she seeks out revenge? Nay, better to pardon her and keep her close to us now that we may watch her, rather than set her free with a seed of malice in her heart."
{Since you said OK to fighting Muraz, I'm gonna assume you want to and begin another Trial.}

{OOC was directed at Meggy I guess. LOL They started already}
Vaire smiled. "Justice and Vengence are both familiar to elven blood since the elder days, indeed - as you well know, King Elessar. But politics and their law systems changes from race to race and age to age. You think she is cleared from malice in her heart, just by taken her to Minas Tirith? Well, interesting concept for cleaning a mind from evil. I thought some more ... impressive arguments ... would highlight this effect. But well, I am just a witness, no Realm Ruler and not allowed to participate into the dealings of this council."

While her crimes still stand, her alliance is no longer there and that is fact, Lady Vaire. Megloren may have been a cheif conpirater in the murder of Albesteen but if there is any further deception I beleive that for the most part it will not come from Megloren. Her pride is not as low as to return to the ones who have kicked her in the side."
Doren shook his head. He had only just arrived and now the meeting was over. It figured because things like this often happened to him. Well it was just the luck of the day and perhaps a new day in the land of Arnor would bring far better tidings.
"I beleive I shall return to the inn and take a gander at this contest everyone is raving about. Perhaps it may be interesting."

"Thou art permitted to say aught that thy mind would wish, fair Lady," Aragorn replied, looking across the table to where she sat. "Customs differ between race and age, 'tis true." He sighed. "Would that 'twere not so. If I could have it, then I should wish that the Eldar and the Atani would remain as near each other in counsel as they were in the days of Hador my forefather. Hador the Golden-Haired. Days long gone. And too swiftly, at that. Oh, that a man's course would be as simple now as in times of yore! But, as thou sayest, if malice still dwelleth in her heart, further debate and railings against her in this Hall will do little to remove it. Let us rather see how well she follows her words to us, prominent in her Rulership, rather then free and wild to do as she pleases. We shall see. Tales come to my ears of devious dealings in Middle-Earth, and soon we shall know where her loyalties truly lie."
