Finals of the Warrior Sets

After the first kick, which did hit its target, Ash swung his leg around, once again trying to hook the back of Garland's knee with his foot and trip him forward. He held his blade in front of Garland with the blade pointed forward at Garland so that he would go towards the blade instead of the blade coming to him.

[Garland]

With a flick of his wrist Garland drew a card from his deck and gave a sly smile. "I play Dark Magician in ATTACK MODE!!" He stood back crossing his arms with the smug smile of victory on his face.

(ok, disregard that last move...)

Ash's leg tangled with Garland's, making him stumble forward directly at Ash's blade. He quickly swatted at the blade with his arm, causing it to miss his gut, but in the process giving him a slice as part of the blade slid off his bracer. As he continued stumbling forward he grabbed the waist of Ash's garment and pulled trying to make Ash spin and lose his balance as well. He hit the ground an imeadiately rolled several times to avoid Ash's blade if it happened to be swiinging at him and he came to his knees several yards away from Ash. He hopped up to his feet, shook the dust off and ran back towards Ash with both swords swinging furiously.

Ash stumbled but quickly turned his stumble into a graceful cartwheel, blocking Garland's broadsword with his boot and earning him a slice on his other leg just above the boot. As he came back up to stand on his feet, he made an uppercut slice with his own sword at Garland's chest.

[Garland]

Garland caught a boot to the face as Ash did his acrobatic demonstration. He jumped back to avoid the slash at his chest and as Ash completed his swing Garland jumped forward again, swinging his two blades forcefully at the Elf: One aiming at his neck and the other swinging from the opposite direction and aimed for Ash's hip.
