Being a hair more concernd with the blade flying at his head than Ash's foot, Garland ducked and let the blade zip past his head. The kick caught his shoulder as he was now crouched to avoid the blade and as it made contact Garland took the opportunity and brought his broad sword down hard at Ash's extended upper leg. He then let the force of the kick spin him and when he came around he stepped forward, jabbing at Ash's side.

The sword cut Ash's leg, and caused a new amount of blood to litter the ground beneath them. The jab at Ash's side missed, as the elf stepped to the side, onto the leg that had been injured by Garland. Ash gripped his sword in one hand, thrusting it forward. At the same time he took his other hand and sent a punch directly towards Garland's face.

Garland's short sword flew to met Ash's blade and knock it away before it could pierce him, though due to his concentration on the sword he failed to see the punch untill it was too late. He licked the blood at the corner of his mouth and grinned. After their swords clashed again Garland twisted around to Ash's flank again and brought both of his blades to bear down quickly at Ash's side- one towards his arm, the other towards his neck.

Ash jerked away, causing Garland to miss his neck and only graze his arm. From there he spun around, leading with his sword, so that the blade went straight towards Garland's side with what Ash hoped was enough force to get through the man's armor.

Ash's blade hit Garlands side, pressing through the armor a bit and giving him slice. He swung his Broad sword back at Ash's blade and turned in towards Ash while knocking the blade to the side and lunged forward straight for the center of Ash's chest with his short sword.

Ash's blade went to the side as Garland's came forward, and the elf stretched out a hand and caught Garland's sword between two fingers, fighting hard to keep it from his chest. With the sword between his fingers, he attempted to force it up while holding his broadsword in one hand and attempting to hook his sword around and slash at the back of Garland's knee.

Garland looked at Ash, quite suprised the elf would stick his fingers on his blade. He moved his broad sword to meet Ash's swing at his leg and with a grin on his face he quickle twisted the blade that Ash held away from his chest. As he twisted he swung the tip upwards towards Ash's chin and though to himself it would quite amazing if Ash didn't lose a finger for his mistake.

OOC: Just to clarify, Ash caught the blade between the two fingers, not on the fingers, so at worst he'd get a cut and not lose a finger
As Garland's sword came up to Ash's chin, Ash flipped backwards, sending both of his feet flying towards Garland's chin instead, but at the same time dropping his sword mid-flip and making it fly across to the other side of the arena.

OOC: I think I got what you meant, thats why I twisted the blade. The damage you take is of couse up to you.
Ash's jump and flip caught Garland off guard and the blow knocked him back a few steps. He shook his head and saw that Ash no longer held a sword. He charged forward and upon reaching Ash he made succession of four swipes at him, alternating between each of his two swords, wanting to finish the battle quickly.

Ash performed a cartwheel to the right, using the movement to move towards his sword and hopefully also land a few kicks on Garland's head a the same time, but the added effect of his move was two of Garland's attacks landed on Ash's legs. It seemed that Garland was trying to rush things, and Ash was more than happy to slow the battle down to lure Garland into a overconfidant haze.

After he had hit Ash with the two of his swings he stopped his pursuit and let the elf continue in his acrobatics. He sheathed his two blades and pulled the bow from his back, firing an arrow, then another and another, giving a little lead with his aim as the elf continued to somersault to his sword. He smirked knowing that Ash had dropped his own bow earlier in the fight and was now on the opposite side of the arena. Garland would simply continue firing arrows untill Ash moved in closer. He nocked another arrow and continued firing away.

Ash jumped to the side, picked up his sword with one hand, and caught one arrow as it was sent at him. Then he made a zig-zaged path to Garland with them, letting a few arrows strike him but charging forward none-the-less, slashing madly, and hopeing to catch Garland before he brought his sword out again.

As Ashuron neared with his charge Garland quickly put his bow away. Ash was quick and Garland was only able to unsheath his broadsword as Ash reached him. Ash's first slash hit Garland's arm, the force cutting though the mail it was so strong, though the mail did slow the impact and reduce the damage. The remainder of Ash's blows Garland parried with his blade, now holding the hilt forcefully with both hands. Their blades swiftly and sparks flew as the blades crashed together time after time. Ash's mad swings came relentlessly but Garland kept his cool, parrying and waiting for the proper moment. As one mad swing came at his head Garland went as to parry but then ducked the blade instead and spun his sword around with great speed and force at Ash's back.

Garland's blade slashed across Ashuron's back, and the Elvish Lord kicked off the ground so that he went towards Garland facing away from him. Ashuron ended his backward jump by spinning (for what seemed like the hundreth time this battle) around and, holding his sword in both hands, aiming a slash directly at Garland's neck.

Garland ducked and squated as the blade swung through the air at his neck, though he lost a bit of his hair and pride this time. As he squated he kicked at Ash's knees four times, alternating beween the legs. (Imagine that russian dance thing, you know you know what I'm talking about...;D) After the fouth kick towards his opponent's knees he sprung up, drawing his short sword and stood ready for the next onslaught from Ash.
