E'vesash smiled and placed a light kiss upon his forehead before she rose. "Sleep, my love." She turned toward the door before glancing back over her shoulder. "You will mend better if you do." She gave a slight wave before tucking a strand of hair behind her ear and slipping out the door.

Legolas felt his body relaxing and his mind slipping away as he fell into a deep sleep. The last he could remember was a parting glance from his wife...

Vaire saw him leaving and when she noticed that she was allone, she grinned icely. Here was the answer to her question. Even the King of Gondor wasn't to high in grace for vengence on his own, without proof only the word of a friend. She squeezed Arwens hand a little bit and said: "Your sleep ends soon, my friend. I promise. You wount have any pain." The days went by and Vaire took care for Arwen. The healer and nurses were astonished by her patients and that Arwen hadn't passed away already, they counted to a high amount onto Vaires healing skills. They saw, how Vaire gave her friend several times something to drink and when they asked Vaire answered, it were some herbs she had collected and which shallt make Arwens heart more strength and heal her wounds quickly. And really her wound healed and the bruises at her neck vanished. But Arwen didn't woke up and lay in her bed, pale like the dead.

Aragorn brought Arwen back into the Houses of Healing, her frail body pained even more than before, and bleeding her dear red blood from her shoulder. The wound was deep and painful, but it was a simple matter to bind it tightly and bandage her. Not so simple did it prove to lay her down and keep her down - her fiery spirit kept wanting to stand up and pace about. Not until Aragorn smiled and sat himself beside her, kissing first her eyes and then her tender lips, caressing her hair and singing to her softly, did she fall asleep.

And thus she passed into dreams.
Aragorn walked into the courtyard where Murazor stood awaiting him. His face was grave when he approached him.
"Thou shalt forgive give, good Murazor, I trust," he began. I acted rashly and without advance thought, and I fear I may have done thee serious harm. I crave thy forgiveness and ask to be reconciled. Think only of how thou wouldst feel if one thou thought had been thy friend had reportedly slain thy wife. All ill feeling toward thee in my heart is gone - let it be such with thine as well."

"Nay... to much has been done , first you abandon me at Mithlond , then you march against me , for no ill deed i had done i simply gave someone a home , then you try and kill me for nothing i had done , and again you didnt trust me.... no to much has been done " he said turning away and started to walk away slowly.

"Very well, Murazor," said Aragorn wearily as one who has trodden pathless wastes for days without succour. "Very well. Go if thou wish it, I shall not hinder thee. But if thou leave in such a wise, completely disregarding how thou wouldst feel in my place: if you had been operating under false information, if word had come that your wife had been attacked, and then to find out all was not so, and to be repentant - if thou shalt spurn all of my feelings and forgive me not, then we shall ne'er again be reconciled, and I shall ne'er aid thee and thine again."

Arwen stood in the doorway, watching them both. She was awake and Aragorn had left her and now she walked over to him, to hold his hand. But she remind silent and waited for Murazor to answer her husband.

"Tell me, what is there to aid old friend , there is no Rivendell , theres nothing you can help me with. And under false information , did you ever bother to ask me first , you took the word of the enemys more then you would an allie ,because of who my father is , not because who i am . No more will i be betrayed my old friend " he said then dissappeared into flames back to Mirkwood.

Aragorn laughed and sat himself upon a bench hard by, giving Arwen a stern glance for being out of her bed when she needed her rest. Then he smiled, and held out his hand to her; she took it and sat beside him.
"And were he in my place, he would certainly have traveled calmly and peacefully to my realm and knocked quietly upon my door, with no emotion whatsoever, and serenely discussed the matter. I think not. I care not a whit who his father is, but I do care who he is. Well, dear one!" he said, standing and in one swift motion picking her up and cradling her, "We shall see no more of Murazor in friendship. For now, however, thou needest thy rest. I shall carry thee to bed!"
She laughed and kissed him, and he took her back to her room, where he laid her down and sent her into soft dreams again with gentle words.

A soft knock came from the doors. Almost imediately after, the doors swung open and Megloren stormed in, a look of rage on her pale face. "Aragorn. Aragorn, where is he?" She looked frantically around for the King. He had some explaining to do.

Healers came into the entrance hall with scores of guards on their heels, entreating the Lady to be calm and quiet, for injured persons lay aggrieved within. If it was her wish to be taken to Lord Aragorn, then such would be arranged. Would it please her to await him here?

Megloren nodded and took a seat in an attempt to sooth her anger. Why had Gondor not come to their aid? Was it not Aragorn who declared Gondor and Angrenost in a Grand Alliance and then show no sign of caring whatsoever?

Aragorn walked out of Arwen's sick chamber, pleased at her speedy recovery, as he had been informed of the Lady Megloren's presence, and strode into the foyer where she sat seething. He took a seat near her, and addressed himself unto her:
"My Lady Megloren," he began, being cautious to select his words carefully,"It comes to my ears that thou hast suffered a grevious assault in Angrenost, and for this I am aggreived. I received thy message of plea for aid, yet, alas! I was in Harad and Belfalas at the time, upon a mission that could not wait. Therefore, I dispatched my faithful Queen to arrange the matter, but ere it could be done, she was attacked in her own audience hall. This news is not renowed as of yet, so I am surprised if thou knowest it. She was betrayed by one she had thought a comrade, who is dead now, at my order. But I was distracted by tidings of Murazor, saying that he had done this thing, and I am sure thou wouldst agree that my love for my wife and her safety, and justice to any who would harm her should be foremost in my mind. And for this reason, I fear that thy plight was momentarily driven from my mind, and for that I apologize. But thou and thy men are free to remain in my City as long as thou mayest desire."

With that she shot up, enraged. "Five thousend Urk-hai are camped in Pelennor Feilds, Aragorn! FIVE THOUSEND!" She struggled to keep her voice down. It was hard, considering everything. "And I shouldnt of had to come here. Angrenost should NEVER of been abandoned. Do you even know what has been happening in Middle-Earth, Aragorn? Erebor, Ered Luin, and the Iron Hills have all been taken into the hands of Morsereg and his allys. All three of the Dwarven Realms have fallen into darkness. Now the Gap of Rohan is open. Now free travel is avalable from the East to the West. Lothlorien and Mirkwood are surrounded by shadow and Rohan is cornered. Dont you understand? The standings are: Good 4, Darkness: 14! Fourteen Realms against four, yet you remain at ease. Do you not understand? We are outnumbered by tens of thousends. Gondor and Rohan cling to eachother for support in the South while Lorien and Mirkwood turn to eachother for help in the North. Not to mention the recent pillages in Gondor's port villages. Our trade routes to other realms have closed, our allys are limited and are being picked off one by one. What now!? Will you still yet not act?"

"Thou shalt sit down forthwith!" Aragorn's tone was menacing. "I shall not be bandied in my own City by thee! And threaten me not with thine Uruk-Hai! Think thou they wouldst still stand if I had not allowed thee encampment? An it please thee, I shalt request that the next instance thou feel like shouting at me - in my halls - thou shalt harken to my words first! I have not just told thee that I was in Harad? Have thou asked why? Nay. I have not just told thee that I was occupied by matters of strife within mine own realm, and matters of my heart? Didst thou offer any solace, or at the very least admit that perhaps - just perhaps! - I might have been justified in my tardiness to Isengard? Or art thou so unchooled in the matters of the heart that the matters of the heart matter not to thee? 'Twould not be overdifficult to believe. Now, I am well aware that danger faces all in Middle-Earth, none better, but do not barge into my City and dare to preach to me, thou, who hast 'lost a realm', at one who is aquainted with defeat as with his brother, and has lately returned from harrows in Harad to find his wife near death, and accuse me! I have information obtained in Harad, and now have a mind to withhold both it and asylum in this realm to thee for thy insolence!"
