Idrial nodded, a smile upon her face as she scanned the street around them. She dodged a few people who'd obviously had more than their share to drink before falling back in step with Vilik as he slipped her arm about her shoulders. "It is good to be in a familiar place though." She said with a soft smile as her eyes continued to glance about the streets.

The door of a nearby pub slammed open and some men of the Winged Guard went outside. They were clad in their armor, but it was easily to see that they had a few drinks to much this night. Their laughter was a loud barking and they pushed and punched each other friendly, but not all to soft. Hador walked behind and grinned about them. One got kicked into the side and lost his balance. With a wild laughter he dropped down tot the plaster of the street. Hador reached him his hand to pull the men on his feet again, looked up and saw on the other end of the street surprisingly a familiar face. He got the men up and grinned broadly in Idrials direction, recalling some memories.

Idrial talked about non-important subjects as she and Vilik walked along. She'd finally given up on the prospect of seeing anyone she knew here in Pelargir, even though she'd had many friends here quite some time back. It was at that moment, though, that she thought she spotted one of her mother's old friends. The young woman placed a hand on Vilik's arm. "I'll be right back." She said with a smile before slipping into the crowd. She caught up with the woman, waving, but suddenly realized that it wasn't the woman she'd thought it was. Idrial briefly apologized and turned away. As she did so, her eyes caught sight of the glinting Gondorian armor of the guards. Her pulse raced as she tried to blend herself in with the crowd, hoping she wouldn't be seen as she pretended to be interested in the items of a small shop.

Idrial vanished into the crowd of people. Hador kept the drunken soldier on his feet and pushed him forward until they reached the base. He thought still grinning about his luck, that the girl was in town. There was no need to make haste, he would find her, somewhere allone, in the dark.

Vilik lost sight of Idrial in the swarm of people on the street after she'd spoken to an old lady. After a few minutes of looking around he spotted her figure browsing some goods of a street vendor. He approached her from behind and slipped his arm back around her, though it seemed she tensed up as he did. "Was that an old friend of yours?" He inquired about the lady. It was then that he glanced down at face and his grin went flat. "Are you ok? You look like you've seen a ghost."

Idrial turned about quickly as an arm went about her, but she immediately relaxed when she realized it was Vilik. She shook her head, pasting a smile onto her face. "No, I thought she was...but I must have mistaken her for someone else." At his second comment she nodded, broadening her smile. "I am fine. I just got a little worried when I couldn't find you. I thought you might have changed your mind and left the accident prone Idrial here to fend for herself."

Vilik nodded at Idrial's statement, though he could see straight through the fragile smile on her face. "Now, why on earth woudl I want to a crazy thing like that?" He winked an gave her hug, holding her close for a moment before ushering her back towards the crowd. "Its getting late, we'd better make our way back to the docks."

"Yes," Idrial replied, glancing back over her shoulder briefly before returning her gaze ahead. After a while of walking and weaving their way back and forth amongst the people and the crowd, Idrial's head began to pound. She reached up, brushing her hand briefly over her forehead. She clung a bit tighter to his arm, allowing him simply to pull her through the crowd so that she wouldn't have to concentrate on finding her own way. "Vilik, my head is hurting." She wished they would reach the boat so that she could lie down.

Vilik pulled her tightly to his side as he guided her back to the pier. "We're almost there, hang in there." Soon enough they reached the dock and made their way to where the boat was tied. As they apprached the boat's side Vilk picked Idrial up and carried her onboard and below deck. He let her down lightly on the bed and sat down on the edge as she laid back on the pillows. "Is there anything you need? Water maybe?"

Idrial smiled as she looked up at him, but shook her head. "Nay, but thank you anyway." She lie there for a while longer, allowing the pain in her head to subside. "It must just be from all that we've done the past few days. After all, I did hit my head quite harshly against a stone...and then I fell off your boat." She grinned. Sitting up slowly, Idrial rested her elbows on her knees and looked about the small cabin. "I should probably change out of this outfit...it's not all that practical for being about on a boat."

"Well, I should give you some privacy I suppose. I'll go rummage around and see just what stores the dock hands loaded up for us." He stood and pointed out where he'd dropped the bag containing the new clothing they'd bought earlier then walked towards the door.

Idrial smiled and gave a slight nod as he exited the room. Once the door was closed, she quickly changed into a more practical outfit, pushing her hair back over her shoulders as she glanced at herself in the mirror. "Alright," she called out to Vilik, unsure of whether he could hear her or not. She seated herself upon the edge of the bed, waiting to hear what he'd found out about the stores.

Vilik rumaged through the store room taking note of the new supplies of bread, salted meats and produce. It would be enough to last the two of them more then a month if need be. He hadn't heard Idrial's call so he knocked lightly on the door before cracking it open and waling inside. "More comfortable now I presume."

Idrial glanced up as he walked in and nodded. "Indeed, thank you." She rose from the edge of the bed and moved to the little window along the side wall. She couldn't really see out of it since darkness had begun to fall outside. But now, as her headache was subsiding, Idrial found she wasn't all that tired yet. After all, they'd slept through quite a bit of the day. The maiden traced her finger around the bottom edge of the window, finding it a bit wet. Must have been from the last night's rain.

"You're welcome.." He replied as he walked back in the room and took a seat at the foot of the bed. He glanced out the dark window where she was looking. "So, are you calling it a night or would you like to go sit outside for a while?"
