One another tree, a little distance off from the council tree, is Ashuron's Study. Usually closed to outsiders, some may be invited in to discuss matters such as war that must be discussed in the greatest secrecy.
This platform is enclosed, that is it is a building around a center tree, not just a platform. The inside is lined with books covering every subject from war to medicinal herbs. At one end hangs a painting made around 450 years ago, showing a more youthful Ashuron with his signature blade, the Golden Fang, on the right side, his now deceased wife holding a bow and arrow on the left, and between the two a young and short Arken Leafbow, son of Ashuron, when he was still only about half as tall as his sorcerer's staff.

A messenger of Rohan entered the throne room and bowed low. He handed a letter to Ashuron-
The corrination of Megloren Istdale will take place tommorrow in Edoras. We hope you will come, as many other leaders are welcome. It would truely be pleasure if you came.

OOC: I don't want to bother logging out and back in
Lord Leafbow took the letter. After reading it, he looked at the messenger. "You may go now," he said without indicating whether he would be going to the corrination or not.

Aragorn had ridden hard and fast from the Realm of Mirkwood, and upon arriving in the Golden Wood he directed Roheryn to the gates of Caras Galadhon. Then he was conducted to the chief mallorn, and left Roheryn to stabling. He was then directed to Ashuron's Study, as the Lord was not in his Hall; he knocked upon the door, and when the good Elf admitted him with words of greeting Aragorn spake thusly unto him:
"Good my friend, it is with tidings of woe and in search of answers that I come unto thee this day. Word has reached me that there have been attacks upon my sea-coast by a band of brigands claiming to pillage at thy orders. Please, say unto me that this is not so. Thou hast e'er been my comrade and a steady hand, and I would not think that thou wouldst be responsible for these dastardly assaults."

"Attacks upon thy coasts on my orders? I don't remember giving such an order, nor do I have any desire to attack Gondor. Are you sure of your information on this matter?" Ashuron walked over to a window in his study and gazed out it. "Why would I have need of any other land when I have this," he said, pointing out the window at the beauty of Lothlorien, its trees, people, animals, and all else.

"Aye, upon thy orders, comrade. And my information could not be more certain. To hear the honesty in thy voice confirms my earliest thoughts, that thou hast no means of shipping, and bear no ill will against Gondor. Doubtful am I of the goings-on in Harad, for I hear ill tidings for the South. Very well, then - think no less of me for wishing to be certain, Ashuron, what else wouldst thou have done?"

"Interesting goings-on in Haradwaith you say? Perhaps these events are worth looking into. Very well then, it's settled. I'm going into Harad to take a look at the situation." And with that he began to walk around the study, pulling large tomes off of the shelves around the walls with titles like, The Ecology of South Gondor and Maps and History of the Eastlands and throwing them onto a near table.

"Good my friend, an it please thee, let us sally forth together as comrades did oft of old, and see what we may see. Threats issued from the mouths of ill-behaved bastards in the south concern thee, and attacks upon my coast concern me. Let explore Harad together."
{Perfect chance for a good, old-fashioned party-style RP...}

"Very well then, we shall go together. I trust you can arrange us transport from one of your ports into Umbar? And another thing I've meant to ask of you. Are the rumors true?" Ash was trying his hardest to keep a grin from spreading across his face, "Do you really chase theives over building tops with pigs on spits? I thought that was what you hired your citadel guard to do."

Aragorn stared blankly for a moment at the audacity of Ashuron, then slapped him on his shoulder and sank into a chair. He laughed uproariously.
"Indeed hast thou heard sooth, impudent Elf!" he chuckled. "But the Guard was in on the brawl, or at the least they would be, had this rascally fellow proven such a slippery fish. A merry chase he led, me, and that is a fact. Long are the ears of Lorien! But, yea, we shall ride to Pelargir, and may lay hidden upon a ship of trade to Umbar. How soon wouldst thou wish to depart?"

"As soon as you can be ready to depart, we shall go." Ash walked over to another table and laid down his golden blade in favor of a broadsword of much lower birth and an old looking bow. "You might consider a disguise as well. You do stick out among a crowd in that area of the world," he said.

"Thinkest thou such?" chuckled Aragorn, rising and turning about. "Nay, kingly robes such as these are seen every day in Umbar." He smiled thoughtfully. "Thy plan is a sound one, Ash, and we shall journey to Pelargir, where I shall take up the guise of a simple blade for hire, that in this wise the longsword at my side will not seem amiss, for I shall not put aside Anduril, though I shall clothe him in a less obtrusive sheath. Art thou ready, then? Shall we go?"

Ash grabbed a grey cloak and threw it around him. "Yes, I was thinking along the lines of a blade for hire myself, after all, it's not that much of a difference from what we are now, Lords of Realms. However, we barter our services based upon principles, not cash flow. Anyway, we must depart quickly. Let us go forth."

"Would that 'twere as simple for us as for those we hide ourselves as. Oft my mind spins at the matters upon my decisions, and I pine for simpler times. But now let us depart, and ride swiftly!"
Aragorn followed Ashuron out of the Study, and they descended the great mallorn, coming ere long to the stabling houses, where they each mounted their steeds. Then sun was darkening into purple as they left Caras Galadhon, and soon she was lost from sight as to the South they pointed their faces.

A bird with a message arrived exhausted Lothlorien after a hawk had chased him. With his last strength he circulated in the sky, seeing his desteny riding away. A desperate chilp came out of his throat when he let himself drop out of the sky to reach horse and rider before they were to far. And in Envinyatars hand he droped dead, the message still on his body.
"My Lord, I bring word to you about the victory at Imladris. As our allie and cover in the battle, I, Lady Ilmare of Enedwaith, invite you to the victory council to discuss the belongings of the freed realm. Lord Murazor Bauglir escaped with his host and left his realm abandoned. The decision is to make what shall be done with this Realm. I understand that you and Lord Dindaedel are in important mission, so please give a representant of you into the Council. Days of Fortune, Days of Glory to you. Ilmare"
