Aragorn harkened to the message of the bird, but ere it departed to return, he bade it hold and harken to him. He instructed the bird to speed to his Citadel, and there to inform Arwen that as soon as she was able he would request her to be his envoy to this council, as he was otherwise engaged. He told the bird to tell Arwen his purpose in journeying south, but to swear on its love for its nest that it would tell no other soul. The bird took its oath and departed. As was the Elvish way with all good beasts, Aragorn knew that Arwen would be able to comprehend the bird, and rode on southward with Ashuron.

"Talking to animals is regarded as a first sign of insanity you know," Ashuron said with a jestful grin as they rode south.
OOC: I think you should, since Aragorn is going to be the one who will have to arrange a ship.

"Ah, but talking to oneself is the second, and Elves mumble to themselves constantly, or so 'tis said," grinned Aragorn.
{OK, I'll get it.}

A messanger antered the halls and bowed to Ashuron and handed him a letter from Mirkwood.
Dear Lord of Lothlorien,
The Lady of Mirkwood has invited you and any of your subjects who you wish to bring to a masquerade ball in Mirkwood. All realms are invited but at the time of the ball there shall be no good or evil, merely a party with gatherers. Come to talk, joke, and have fun and maybe fix any loosened ties withing realms. We hope to see you and those you bring. Please reply to as soon as possible.
Sincerly, Siranna of Mirkwood.
