Hearing the man's voice, Thoven pulled his stallions reigns and wheeled him around to examine the man whom spoke. He huffed in contempt for the man. "Have you forgotten your mother's warning? Keep playing with that thing and you are bound to hurt yourself." He drew his own sword in warning. "Scurry along, little man, you want no quarrel with me."

"For someone with such words of wisdom, they seem to carry such a big sword, i wonder why?. Having trouble wooing the women, so much trouble infact that u need to tie them up and carry them off into the night, like a troll and its meal?" the voice seemed very much playful as he seemed to edge forward towards the man, trying not to stumble, exspecially not onto the other mans sword.

Rhiannon met his sarcastic gaze, her own eyes full of confusion. She shook her head, leaning forward a bit as he turned back around. "The horse was never his...I didn't steal that horse." She paused, tossing her hair from before her eye before continuing to hiss words into his ear. "If you took the time to look past your own selfish greed, you could help me prove my innocence. That is if you have any standard of right and wrong at all -- which I doubt." Rhiannon lifted her head sharply as a pirate fellow wandered by, seemingly drunk out of his mind. She tilted her head, watching the fellow curiously, praying that against all odds, he could be her ticket to freedom.
Rhiannon tilted her chin ever so slightly toward the man, her eyes betraying her fear and concern. Though, she wondered fleetingly if she'd be any better off in the hands of a pirate than those of her current captor. Oh well, she was willing to take any chance.

Thoven laughed, "Hardly, you fool. Twas it my intention to woo the girl, that I would have done." Thoven grew impatient with the mans seemingly drunken rambling. "I have not the time to deal with the likes of you, fool." He spat at the man's feet. "Now, run along." He turned his horse then and with yah the both horses burst into a gallop, leaving the man behind in a cloud of dust.

Rhiannon listened to the conversation intently, and when the man spoke of certainly being able to woo her, she snorted in a rather unladylike manner. The maiden had been unprepared when Thoven sent his horse into a gallop, but luckily she managed to retain her balance. That's when the idea came. Rhiannon glanced down over her shoulder at the quickly moving ground. Sure, it would hurt a fair bit, but maybe it would be just the opportunity she needed. The pirate fellow was still in sight behind, and perhaps he would manage to aid her...but then, could one ever depend on a drunken pirate? Rhiannon's gaze flitted to the man before her -- the one who'd threatened to slit her throat. She decided to take her chances.
With a fake gasp of surprise, Rhiannon allowed herself to tumble backwards off the steed. She let out a cry and winced at the sharp pain in her arm as she hit and rolled to a stop. Quickly, she attempted to push herself to her feet.

"Now that just dosnt make sence troll boy, but please if u wish it to make sence you will come gallopping back here unlike the coward u seem, and face me in a duel to the death" Yelled the now unsmiling pirate as his voice trailed after the horsemen. " Or are u afraid that all your good at is scaring little children like the troll u are."
Then he saw a black figure fall off the back of the horse and decided to yell the words, "Never mind , you can go now" as he began to run ahead with his hands infront of him moving about frantically as if he was a blind man.

"Dammit, Woman!" He cursed as the girl fell from the horse. He pulled tightly on the reigns, bringing the stallion to a stop and dismounting. This it seemed could become troublesome. Not that he feared the drunkard, but more so that he feared the girl would escape whilst he dispatched the fellow. He reached the girl as she tried pushing herself up, which proved too difficult from her position with her hands still bound behind her. Thinking quickly grabbed her by the bindings and pulled her to her feet. "Fine, girl. If innocent you are as you claim, then help you I might be inclined. If you run though, I will track you down and slit your throat like the criminal you are." With that he pushed her aside, unsheathing his sword to meet the drunkard.
"You should have run when you had the chance, fool. Now I shall see your head roll."

"I am running, and who are you calling fool, I do not see a fool here, nor do I hear one, your not crazy are you? I hear trolls have very limited capacity for words, but you have impressed me, id take my hat off to you if i had one. " said the inpolite voice of the drunken man as he raced forwards till he had reached the mans sword, where he knocked it softly out of his way as he carried on towards the girl. "By the way mate, you might wanna sheath that thing, you might trip and impale yourself on it, not like i would be complaning, id just feel sorry for the crows that eat you!"

Rhiannon attempted to muffle her cry as he yanked her to her feet, but she did not succeed. Her hair spilled about her shoulders as her dark hood fell back off her head. The maiden lifted her gaze quickly when the man said something of helping her prove her innocence. Could she believe what he said? Her eyes betrayed her skepticism, but she said nothing. Instead, she held her arm more tightly against her back, hoping to quell the pain. Her vision swam slightly as the pirate came nearer to her, and she shook her head, willing her eyes to clear.

Thoven caught the man by the back of his shirt as he passed by, pulling him a bit off balance. This is when he caught a hummorous sight. The man's undergarment was protruding a bit from his trousers. Thoven took the opportunity to grab them, pulling up as hard as he could until he heard the fabric tear. "Call me a crow eater, will you?" With a laugh, Thoven raised his foot, kicking at the man's back.

The man seemed to slide right into the womans feet, pain was clearly registered on his face as the pain of having ones undergarments pulled so far up clearly did hurt, then add to that a troll sized footprint on his back, it clearly was a bad day, only made worse at the sight of his rum spread accross the floor, tears seemed to swell up in his eyes, they were quickly spilt as he got back up and dusted himself down.
"I didnt say you ate crows, I said I merely felt sorry for the crows that will eat you when I run my sword through you!" the pirate was clearly agiated by now, not only was he embarrassed , but he lost his rum, his rum of all things, today was an ill day indeed.

Thoven laughed hardily as he saw the man's expression. "Do yourself a favor, mate, and go back to the docks from which you came." He brought his sword up, ready to strike the man down. "There is no profit in this for you... clearly you see that. And is the girl really worth your life?"

"Profit, just cause im a pirate mate, dosnt mean im always thinking of profit." he said drawing his sword, a proper sword at that, a schmitar to be precise, often used by the pirates of Umbar, he used it because it looked funny, and it caught the light fairly well. He turned his head slightly to the woman behind him "Dont worry luv, il have him on his knees in no time, any last words u wish to say to him say them now "

Rhiannon watched the entire exchange quizzically. She shook her head, turning her gaze toward the sky in frustration at all that was happening. She shook her head at the pirate's statement about last words. Rhia had a feeling that no one would perish this night. Her dark eyes studied both men carefully. She couldn't really decide who she wanted to win. The first man had spoken of helping her prove her innocence, but he'd also held a sword to her throat and pushed her aside after speaking. Could such a man be trusted? She lowered her gaze to the ground, wishing she'd never gotten mixed up in such business in the first place.

"We shall see who goes to his knees." Thoven snickered as he charged the drunkard. The distinct ring of metal on metal rang through the night as their swords clashed against one another. "You smell like a dog," Thoven spat at the man as they came face to face, swords locked against each other. With that Thoven pushed hard against the pirate's sword, freeing his own to make a sweep at the man's legs.
