The great gap on the west of Rohan between the southern end of the Misty Mountains and the northernmost peaks of the White Mountains.

Tathar had ridden into Rohan from The Misty Mountains. Now that he had finally been freed from the control of Elves he needed to make his way to his home. But much had changed since the begining of his imprisonment and he needed to learn about Middle-Earth now.
His gray mare quickly took him to a small village. He slippedh im helm off and put the necklace on restoring his once Valar beauty. He left his mare at the edge of the Village and travled in the great ax left behind but his sword hanging losely from his hip.
As he entered the village many of the soldiers looked at him unsure of him. But they did not question him. Quickly Tathar made his way to the Main House of the Village and found it empty. So he sat down and began to concentrate and see pictures of the stronger beings of Middle-Earth.

Since the attack on the Wildmen of Dunland some days ago, Anwyn had found herself working thrice as hard as usual in order to see that all people of her realm were safe, Despite offers from many for assistance, this was not a chore that she would pass off so lightly.
Cloaked in a dark green robes she rode her horse hard through the rocky terrain that marked this terriritory, the horse was beginning to stumble with more and more frequency, so bringing him back into a trot she allowed him to pick his own path around the great boulders and along the rocky trail.
Mounting a hill she looked down upon a small village, Soldiers were posistioned here but she was unsure of how many residents had actually bothered to stay in these times. Riding forward she swore to make it her last stop of the day before returning back to Edoras.
Stopping her horse she threw over his reins and lead him by foot into the village so that the Soldiers would not mistake the gallop of hooves for an attack. A grey mare stood just on the outreach of this plaace "Hello there" Anwyn greeted the horse warmly as she would a child stroking its nose gently and then found herself pulling her stallion away before he could become too well aquitned as well.
Leading her anomored horse to a group of soldiers that stood by the fire, she lifted her hand in greeting and they returned the gesture "What news from the Westfold?" she asked tossing back her hood to look at each of them in turn. One of the soldiers stepped forward "A man on horseback just arrrived my Queen" Anwyn pursed her lips and thought for a moment, finding it queer that he had choosen to mention such a thing for certainly there were many travellers in these lands "Was he in need of any assitance?" Anwyn asked after a moments silence.
The soldier shrugged, then remebering himself "No, he did not ask as such M'lady. He disappeared into the cottage fourth" the man explained motioning with his spear. Anwyn eyes followed the path that lead to the home that had once belonged to a rich lord. Perhaps he was in need of assistance but had been to shy to ask.
Ensuring that her horse was properly tied as not to get loose and wreak his own particular brand of havok, Anwyn walked towards the home listening as she went, It was quiet. Knocking once, she pushed on the door that creaked as she did, she winced, she did not mean to make so much noise.

Tathar's mind had wondered far. He had been taking in the thoughts of lesser beings learning what they had seen and heard. He had found out every major ruler and was more then happy to see Sauron had not returned, and his Father was still in the void.
As the Half Valar was searching peoples minds he had heard the hoofbeats in the ground and soon had heard the Woman speaking. He identifide her as teh Ruler and knew she would soon come in so he had to mask his evilness. He didn't need her trying to kill him or throwing him back with the Elves.
So he pulled himself up and removed the scarrab from his head and laid the blade down on the table to show he was unarmed. Then he sat back down and looked at the door waiting.
Whe she walked in he looked up at her." Hello." He said in a voice as smooth as silk." Are you the one i've been waiting for. The ruler of this village?" He asked her knowing the answer.

"Oh, Hello" Anwyn said quietly, slightly taken aback at first, for it would have appeared that the man had been expecting her Then again she reasoned I have made enough noise now for a deaf man to sense my arrival
Stepping through the door she closed it behind her and took in the man, noting that even though he was sitting he appeared to be unaturally tall in stature "I am" she replied to his question, her brow furrowing for a moment wondering how someone she had never met could know her from sight alone "I am Anwyn, Queen of Rohan. What may I call you?" she asked kindly.

Tathar had watched her enter and had known she noticed his different, more perfert characteristics. He slowly nodded his head in a greeting." I heard you coming." He said to take away any suspicious questions she may have.
Tathar slowly stood up. He thought that is couldn't hurt to use his real name. Surely no one read about his Father anymore and they would have forgotten the name of his son." My name is Tathar. It is a pleasure to meet you Queen of Rohan." He said gently.
" I am here to learn what has been going on with your realm. I have not been here in sometime, and I am rather curious about it." The Noldor said to her.

"Likewise Tathar...Please take a seat" she motioned to the small table at which he had previously sat, although she did not stare she saw that he was far fairer in apperance than any man of Rohan she had met, only confirming her earlier judgement that he was indeed a traveller.
Noticing a thick layer of dust and grime upon the chair, she swept some of it away with the palm of her hand, coughing into her shoulder as the dust rose towards her. Taking a seat, she sat across from him "Well, Tathor I am glad that you arrived to us safely for many dark things prowl these lands, and I trust that you did encounter any of them fortunately. I do not know how much of Rohans history you wish to know, but I may tell you of our present conerns for the Wildmen who increase in there boldness"
Anwyn purposely stopped herself there, for there were some details that she did not wish to frighten this stranger with, though she had warned him of the danger that all of Rohan had been watchful.

Tathar pulled his chair out and sat down in it. The dust did not bother him, he had been locked in a small room for over three thousand years. He at there and looked at her.
" That is fine. It would be better if it was more recent." The Noldor said midly annoyed that she couldn't fully help him, but if the realm belonged to her then it didn't matter because his Father had never made it here apparently.
" Please contiune about the Wildman." He said leaning back in his chair. If someone was ordering them to attack then maybe he could learn something from them, but first he needed her help before he could rush off.

Anwyn found it slightly peculiar that one would want to know much more about a pack of violent murders, but assumed that it was so that if he could encounter them he would be able to better defend himself.
"The Wildmen of Dunland" she started with a sigh "Have long been enemies of my country, for they harbor the belief that we stole this land from them when it was rightfully given to Eorl, King of Rohan. Since that time our peoples have warred, though due to there...waining intelligence, We have always been sucessful. Though what they lack in wit they make up for in blood lust. If you see such men, I suggest you travel in the opposite direction" Anwyn warned.

Tathat sat there listening intetnly. He had doubted these foolish barbarians ever had any land claim here, and had just convinced themselves of it. He would make sure to wipe them out once he had settled down.
" What are there numbers?" He asked her curiously. Tathar had fought hte urge to laugh when she had told him to run from any of these barbarous people if he found them. They should run from him because he wasn't in the mood to play games.

"I do not know, though I wish I did" Anwyn replied with a sigh "For it is impossible to track there numbers, for it could be in the thousands but we only continue to find small pockets, or camps. Each one containing perhaps a couple hundred. They are nomads as well from what we know, and with there constant movement. They remind me alot of rats" she concluded, disgust evident in her tone "For they come and go as they please, breed in large numbers eating up resources and space"

Tathar gave a contempment filled sigh as he looked across the table at her." Why not just trick them. You have said yourself they are dumb." He said gently." Just tell them they can have Rohan then when they march in, crush them with your army." The Noldor suggested." That might work." He said his mind wadering deep into his brain trying to think of another way to wipeout the nuisance." Or you could offer them an actual part of Rohan and accept them as an ally." He hated that suggestion because it ment bloodshed would be avoided.

Anwyn thought more heavily on this second suggestion over the first. While the first could possibly be done, with much planning. This would not mean such a threat would not be wiped out totally. Though the second idea would have its woes as well, for if she was certain that it would end all the slaughter she would happily offer them land and friendship, she she doubted that such killers could ever grow to be trusted "Both have merrit...I suppose" Anwyn said, though she did not mean to appear rude or thankless "But as much as I wish to bring peace between both peoples, A horse never changes its color, and neither will the Wildmen. For I am certain there is a reason they were driven from these lands intially"

Tathar doubted they were ever driven from here." They are nomads M'lady they only want this land because they have used up theres." He said as he looked up into her eyes." But I doubt they will attack again for awhile." You have already beat them in one skirmish and they will probably try to be more cautious with there future raids." The Noldor said delicately." Is that all the news from your realm." He asked her curiously.

"Perhaps" Anwyn murmured thoughtfully as she conteplated his words, she deeply wished his words were true and that they would not attack again for sometime, but part of her knew this proably would not be the case "That is all the news I can offer you for now" Anwyn replied, rising her gaze "Do you require lodgings this night?"
