The Snowbourn begins in the White Mountains and flows north through the valley of Harrowdale past the villages of Underharrow and Upbourn. At the entrance to the valley, the river curves around the town of Edoras and then flows eastward for 12 leagues (to join the River Entwash, which in turn flows into the Anduin.
