All righty! In accordance with my post in the Petition thread, all playings employing characters of Maiar descent will in this thread post at a maximum, five spells, powers, etc. which they will use in combat. Legolas will be the primary mod of this thread (assuming he's OK with this), but I will help out when I can. So, go ahead and post, all ye Maiar. If you need any help coming up with spell ideas, let me or Petra know - we both have some knowledge. I'm sure others do, too, so offer help if you'd like. Have fun!

Magical blast, and Pull : Knocks his enemy back with point his hand to the enmy , ( like what saruman dose when he reachs and pulls gandalfs staff to his hand , and blasts him around orthanc))
Changling : (primary power) Can switch form from snake , wolf, eagle etc , only animals.
Hands of a healer : Can heal people of life threatening wounds, ( but not my self)
What about the idea of Spell points so it maskes using your powers more important , only used during battles and regenerates after each one.

Istari Light- Kills all enemies within a ten meter perimeter. Hands of Healing: (stealing Murs ) Heals open wounds or any other bodily problem. Nienna's Grief: Revives a downed ally. (Brings dead people back to life. It takes away all of Megloren's energy though) Valar Purity: Turns enemy units against eachother for a small amount of time. (Takes away a lot of her energy also)

Hmm...so far it seems pretty standard you two. I can't see anything wrong with any of em, though I can't see what benefit bringing characters back from the dead would be. Oh well, you want em, you got em.
Oh, but Murs., those animals should be limited to true animals described in LOTr(for example, nothing like a jackalope*though that wouldn't be a helpful creature, but you get the idea. No unicorns, strictly animals in LOTr*)

Garland's Powers:
1. Dark Energy - Can be sent at opponent as a blast or used to power-up a weapon/sword. 2. Telepathy - Can talk to my servants through mind. 3. Power to conjure weather/storms. 4. Healing powers-can't bring back the dead though. 5. Can enchant people, turn them into an animal, or disquise them as someone

Hmmm, I'm not sure about the telepathy and weather stuff. Weather is ok, so long as it isn't gonna stop an entire army. After all, it doesn't seem very logical for one storm to stop an entire army.
as for telepathy, I guess that's fine, so long as it has its place. Telepathy in the sense that, you can communicate with your army, from anywhere, but I believe telepathy is defined as communicating YOUR mind, not receiving the thoughts of others, so, as long as its only used to alert your army, then I guess it's fine, after all, Sauron did that right?

Good call, Jo. And I think we don't need to worry about spell points - another hassle. Just make sure you aren't constantly using spells, and none in single combat unless facing a spellcaster.

Elves can do pretty much anything. (within their respectable power limits)
There is no certain gifts each seperate Elf can do. Its basically all the same I think...
And as for as I know, no Elf can change shape...
But its Leggy's call, I was just pointing out facts.

I think Megs got a point. Only Maia should be able to shape-shift. After all, the only people who are recorded as actually being able to do it are, Sauron and the Beornings, as far as I can recall, so, Randir, you can have all your requested powers, EXCEPT shapeshifting.

So does that mean that if the whole army of Lothlorien worked together, I could flood Isenguard easier than the Ents in Two Towers? Also shouldn't that mean that even warriors like Ash have magical powers as well? If so, could we define where the boundary on the powers lies?

Wizards Blast - Blasts back enemies
Hands of Mandos the Healer - Heals life-threatening wounds of others, can revive once in a long while. [Rarely finds the use too, though], and can only revive if Mandos sees fit [Which is why he couldn't revive Elros on the last CoG]
Hands of Mandos the Doomsman - Causes great wounds, sometimes [but rarely, depending on how strong the opponent] a life-threatening one
Telepathy - Can talk to others through minds, not reading theirs.
Shadows - Can summon up nearby shadows to strangle opponent, or so they THINK. It seems to strangle them, but it really only holds them down, torturing them inwardly until they break down.

Considering that Vampires are Maia, and because he's in the Mage set. And then theres the fact to keep Alucard in canon he needs his Control Art Restriction System, which is all of his "spells", but it needs to be released by his master for it to be used.
Defying the laws of physics - That's shorthand for "he flies, he floats, and he goes through walls." Alucard tends to enter rooms through their ceilings, solely for the shock value.
Shapeshifting - Into either a wolf, swarm of bats, mist, or a puddle of blood [cheery, eh?]
Telepathy - Can contact other people via his mind, and can "read" their responses, but only their responses
Illusions - Can induce illusions [obviously], usually just to play with people's heads before he kills them
Regeneration - Small wounds heal quite quickly, and large wounds [deep gashes, severed body part] WILL regenerate, just over time. If wound caused by a holy object, will not heal until after double the usual time.

All these seem pretty true to the books, except one of yours Lancir. Teleportation... MMM...I think we'll have to skip on that one. If I remember right, some Maia, like Sauron, can move about as a spirit, but I don't know about teleporting.
