Well, Jo's got me for this one. I like how you chose pics to blend that match the BG of the banner, so that the whole thing has sort of a woodland feel to it, and the whole fits together very well visually. The blends were nicely managed, too, and the text completes the hobbit-ish feel that you captured by having images of the hobbits in various emotions. Well done!

Indeed, I have to second that, even its really hard to decide. Both are nearly eaquel. but yes, the blending in Joes gives for me the reason to choose him.

Tony, I really liked your entry. It was a kind of 'triptik' of Hobbits, and although it was not perfectly blended, I appreciate the idea and the contrast between the 3 facets you chose. I really dislike 'busy' graphics, where there are multitudes of blended pictures so you don't know where to look first. They take away from the overal emphasis and sometimes cause headaches...although when done properly can have a very pleasant effect, even on my disturbed brain. At any rate, way to go, both of ya.  |
