Garland stood deep beneath the stone of the mountains in the darkest depths of Moria, well out of sight of any and all prying eyes. Minos stood along side him as they watched their guest leave. Garland turned to Minos, "Make ready your troops and move swiftly and silently north through the mountains. Bear no mark of Moria, and be hasty to go unnoticed. It should not be difficult using the tunnels."

Minos nodded with a snarl, "Yes, my Lord." He then set about to the task of mustering those forces he wished to take with him: Five thousand wrag riders, seven thousand stout dwarves and three thousand gobblin archers were assembled. When the great host was prepared, Minos bowed to his master and then turned and led the great horde into the long dark tunnels of the mountains.

Minos returned with the host that had just days earlier marched to Angmar. The troops returned to their secret barracks, deep within the mountain while Minos made his way to Garlands chambers.
