Many days had passed since the refugees of Arnor departed from the shores of Gondor and it seemed fortune was with them, for only one day later the mercenaries of Umbar made dock on the shores with the debvious servant of darkness and light, Grashnik, as their guide. With his leadership they pillaged and burned the villages of Lebbinin, Belfalas, and Anfalas. One small village of Arnoreans were there to witness the fell acts of Grashnik and his minions aswell as the flag of Lothlorien waving in the air. Now a new troublesome shadow was laid over the peoples of Arnor and as they made camp of Rhun's western borders, one lone villager made his way to Riavod to report these ill tidings to King Doren, former Lord of Arnor.
Berethor meanwhile led the peoples of Arnor and with his leadership the settlements were successfully built. They spanned as far North as the eye could see and perhaps beyond. Large fires roared with merryment and hope and as the smoke drifted into the sky with signals of restoration, unseen eyes viewed from afar, sheltered by dark mountains and housed by a ruined tower of shadow.

A lone messenger from Riavod rode into the Arnorien encampements and entered the large tent that was in some ways the capitol of their makeshift villages. The messenger bowed to Berethor and looked him in the eyes rather dully. He was of Easterling descent and cared not for Arnor's people and spoke thusly. "The Lord of Angmar has relenquished Arnor from his hold. The people of Arnor may return to their homes at their leisure but the Arnorien host should report to Kelhasterdum immediatley. The forces of Arnor and Rhun have been mustered for war so that we may conquer the Southerlands in Rhun's name."
Berethor was now hopeful and exited. The fair capitol of Annuminas was returned to the hold of the West and the cities of Bree, Tharbad, and Fornost aswell. The peasants were quickly roused and soon the entire encampment was bustling. Within one day they were on their treck home.
