Idrial returned Vilik's nod of greeting, praying against all odds that the stange man from the bar would indeed not be going with them. She glanced toward the elf and gave a slight rolling of her eyes, quickly masking it with a smile as she folded her arms and glanced out over the terrain. Why was she traveling with them anyway? But even before she asked herself the question, she knew the answer. The maiden turned toward Vilik. "I thought you did not wish to come with us." She stated simply, a neatly shaped brow arched in curiousity.

{ LOL, I was just giving Iddy a hard time, } Thorongil chuckled heartily at the Shortplank comment, and did not seem to mind when Saemon left in search of someone to pump him. " Had a good rest, all, then? None the worse for the buckets of ale ye drank last night, Vilik? I could have stood a few more meself. But now, will ye be a'comin' with us, or shall ye set off alone?"

In the distance a loud splash and "BRRRRRRRR" could be heared and Saemons voice yelled: "Thats ice cold!"

Vilik smirked at Alagos' comments and smiled as Idrail questioned why he continued on with them, remarking "What could be more delightfull than traveling into certain peril with my new found comrades. Besides, who will save your neck next time?" He laughed and pointed with his thumb behind him in the direction of Saemon's shriek. "Him..?" Vilik raised his brow back at her then. "But, if my company is so hard to stand I'm sure I could find other things to do with my time."

"Nay, nay, Vilik," laughed Thorongil, "Every company needs a laugh from time to time. Besides, as Idrial seems to have little to do, perhaps she can take him in hand. We should be glad if thou wouldst come with us - who can say? We may need our necks saved ere long, as ye say. Wilt thou go? Once Idrial's comrade is bathed, then we can set forth."

Saemon came back, rubbing his head with a towel and looked from one to the other. "Your talking about me? Fine." He mustered the woman from head to foot. "Take me in hand, eh? I heared that. Maybe I am a little slow in something, but my ears are sharp enough. Well, maybe she could give me a hand, somewhere." He twinkled and laughed. He noticed her disgust expression and chuckled. "Excuse me mylady, I couldn't help myself for that bad joke." He raised an eye brow. "Does anybody have a weapon for me? I guess after looking at you with your large swords and grim faces, I could need something pointy. My weapons are gone with my clothes and if I havent to choose this lady to toss at who ever you fear for, I better have something more handy."

"Oh, I'll be comming along alright. Now, Thorongil, you know very well that Idrail couldn't tame that fellow. I believe she lacks the.....'anatomy' his type goes for." Vilik then glanced over to Alagos, "You on the other hand, might want to keep an eye on him."

Thorongil bellowed with laughter. "I am sure ye have a'ready something pointy, Saemon, as every young boy from here to Gondor knoweth well. Vilik, ye're right, I believe. Idrial isn't exactly sitting on his side of the boat, is she? Walk with Alagos, Saemon, only take care and stay in front of him, if you please. Are we ready, then?"

Saemon eyed at the elve. "Alagos, eh?" he looked to Thorongil and sighed. "So no weapons? Not even a table knife?"

"If we get into a scuffle, look around, pick up a rock and promptly bash it against your skull. Unconsious and on the ground will be the safest place for you in a fight. And it'll keep you out of my way."

"Nay, I've got a better idea for a weapon." Ashuron looked around and pulled an old knife from nearby and snapped it in half, and gave the handle to Saemon. "Now, if there should be some sort of a struggle, imagine that that handle has a blade on it,and parry your enemies attacks until you can hide in a corner." Ash roared with laughter.

Saemon chuckled took the handle in his fist and slammed the outpointing edge in one stroke into the wooden table, where it kept sitting like a little mast. "Good one. Gives a pretty look in a skull if you ask me. Maybe I should train with it at yours first."

"Right, you're walking in front of me," Ash said and then added under his breath, "Although the chances of you actually harming me are so very small."

Saemon grinned still and pulled the handle out of the table.
