Vilik grinned when she gave up trying to argue the point with him. "I'm glad you see things my way then," he said, winking at her. He twirled his finger in her hair playfully as she layed there resting her head on the pillow. He leaned forward and simply kissed her forehead.

Idrial allowed a gentle smile to rise to her lips at his words, her brown eyes breaking from his gaze as he leaned forward to kiss her forehead. "You had better not tangle my hair into knots." She said with a grin. The maiden reached out with her hand, caressing his cheek for a brief moment before, both hands came once more to rest upon his shoulders.

Vilik glanced to his hand, not realizing the tangle he'd nearly made. "Of course not." He grinned as he slid his fingers through the strands a few times to straighten them. He leaned over more, propping himself over her. Hands slid beneath her back and he could feel her every breath as her chest pressed against his own. He smirked as he watched her eyes and whispered, "I don't mind 'wasting' my time with you at all really..." His lips met hers as the words left his mouth.

Idrial sighed contentedly, looking up at him after he'd kissed her. "You know," she said, "at this rate, my headaches might never go away." A small grin formed upon her lips at this statement, as he pressed her close to him. She placed one hand lightly against the side of his face, placing a brief kiss upon his lips before once more letting her head fall back.

Vilik's eyebrows raised as he grinned, "Is that so?" He faked a sorrowfull look, ""I'm sorry that I've caused you such pain." He kissed her again and rolled back to his side, resting his head against his fist and his other arm rested across her waist. He smiled, "I suppose I should let you have a little sleep."

Idrial returned his grin, nodding sleepily. "Mmhmm. I suppose you should." She snuggled up against him, resting her head against the pillow and his chest. Then she leaned back to glance up at him and raised a brow. "Only a little?" She too propped her head up on her fist, mimicking him. Her light hair fell before her face, but she quickly pushed it back.

"Yeh, only a little," he laughed, and let he head fall to the pillow. He looked up into eyes as she sat resting her chin on her fist. He couldn't help but grin as looked over the fair features of her face. He reached and caressed her cheek, "Now, you'd better take me up on the offer before I change my mind."

Idrial smiled and reached up to touch his hand as it came to rest upon her cheek. She watched him for a few moments longer before nodding and letting her head drop to the pillows as well. "Yes...knowing you." She said as she nestled herself against him once more, hearing the beat of his heart as she rested her head close against his chest. She hadn't thought it possible to sleep in such a close vicinity to him...but it wasn't long until the rhythmic breathing of sleep overtook her.

Vilik sat awake a bit longer, watching as her eyes slowly closed and she drifted off into sleep. He smiled as he watched her, thinking to himself this was the most peaceful he had seen her since their awkward meeting. She was truely a beautiful lady and he wondered at her apparrent doubts of herself. He pulled her a little more snuggly against him and rested his head on the pillow, her head below his chin. He too was soon fast asleep.

Idrial slept on into the night for a while peacefully, but then the dreams that constantly haunted her began to sneak into her slumber. Her sleep became restless as images floated in and out of her mind, and a bit of sweat beaded upon her forehead...a tear slipping down her cheek. Suddenly, she awoke with a start, crying out as she gasped for breath. "No." She murmured before she finally realized where she was. Her body trembled as she pushed the dream from her mind. The maiden struggled to get her breathing under control before she awoke Vilik...unless she had already done so.

Vilik was suddenly awakened by Idrial's restless movements. He looked at her through half opened eyes. He felt the quickness of ther breaths and could see the fear in her eyes. He wiped away the sweat from her forehead with his sleve and brushed the tear from her cheek with his thumb. He gave her a sympathetic look, but didn't press her with any questions. Instead he kissed her fore head and pulled her head to his chest, gently stroking her hair, trying to comfort her from whatever ill pressed on her mind so presistantly. He whispered to her, "You've nothing to worry about here, Idrial."

Idrial suddenly realized he was awake as he brushed away her tear. She struggled to cease her trembling, as he pulled her near, stroking her hair. Then it was as if a dam inside of her burst. She quickly tried to cover it up, but already tears were streaming down her cheeks...and she wept into the front of his shirt. After a while the tears subsided and she drew in a ragged breath. "Thank you." She whispered, a gentle smile forming upon her lips as she looked up at him.

Vilik was a bit suprised at the sudden outburst from her. He didn't know what to say or if saying anything would help anyway so he just hugged her, rubbing her back as she wept. When her trembling subsided and she raised her head he gave a small concerned smile. "You're welcome.." he replied to her giving her an understanding look as he asked, "Do you want to talk about it? Or would you rather not?" He was carefull not to put any pressure in the question, if she wasn't ready to talk about whatever it was that haunterd her dreams, he wouldn't push her.

Idrial was touched by the concern that showed through his expression...maybe someday she would be able to talk more about what plagued her. But for now, she shook her head. "I do not think I'm ready for that yet." She murmured softly. She rolled onto her back, resting her head on his arm as she looked up to the ceiling with a sigh. "But...thank you for being there." Idrial leaned over to kiss him gently before rolling back onto her back, trying to make out the beams of the roof through the darkness.

He nodded and leaned back against the pillow, "You're welcome." he replied after she kissed him. He rested his head next to hers, looking up with half closed eyes. The room was dark but a dull glow was growing around the curtians, the sun would rise soon enough.
