Vilik laughed as she was almost thrown from the bed, "Your little 'accidents' are what I was referring to when I said you might be dangerous." He wrapped his arms around her and held her tight. "Don't worry though, I won't let you go."

"Mhm," she nodded, looking down at him with a smile, "and for that I am glad." Idrial leaned forward, her eyes drifting closed as she allowed her lips to meet his in a kiss. Though the waves were still a bit high, the sound of the rain and thunder had begun to lessen. "I think the storm is dying down." She finally said as she leaned back to look down at him once more.

The swells did seem to come farther apart and he had noticed the lessening patter of rain on the roof as well. He had no intention of leaving the warmth of the bed nor of her in his arms just yet though. He smiled as she looked down at him. "As captain of this vessel, I declare the weather conditions still too dangerous for us to leave this room." He kissed her again and rolled with her in his arms untill it was he that was looking down at her. "I'm afraid we'll have to stay in these quarters untill at least sunrise."

Idrial laughed at his words. "Oh, is that so?" Then she suddenly found herself looking up instead of down as he rolled them both over. "I think I could settle for that arrangement," she said as he spoke of sunrise. "We do have to make it out to see the sun as it comes up though." She was glad that the rocking of the boat was not quite so ominous now, and the sounds outside became a bit more peaceful.

Vilik smiled, "Of course, I wouldn't want you to miss the sunrise, I only hope it lives up to my description." He gazed down into her eyes as thoughts and feelings he had seldom had before drifted though his mind. A few silent moments passed before he caught himself in the stare and he glanced away with a laugh. He looked back with a grin, "My second order as captain is that neither of us lets the other fall asleep before the sun rises. The penalty for disobediance will be severe." He said jokingly and moved to her side, keeping his face so near hers that their noses rubbed together from time to time.

Idrial looked up into his eyes as he moved over to her side. "That's quite some time," she said, "but I'll try to live up to your expectations, sir." She said with a joking grin. "What is the punishment? Walking the plank?" She asked, a smirk forming upon her lips before she draped her arms about his neck.

Vilik smirked, "Oh, I'm afraid the punishment would be much harsher than a simple walk off the plank. I dare not even speak of the consequences." He slid his arm between her body and her arm and his hand slid around her back as he pulled her close. He fiegned a yawn, "You had best get to work, m'lady."

Had Idrial been upright and able to, she would have placed her hands on her hips as she looked at him with a raised brow. "And what do you mean by that?" But she didn't wait for an answer, instead she slipped her arms back up around his neck and planted her lips firmly onto his. "There," she breathed as she pulled away, "that better?"

Vilik smirked contentedly, "Well, yes, though, it could have been done with a bit less sass." He laughed but also watched to ensure no hands came flying at his face as it seemed his previous comment had stirred her temper. He bit his lip as he watched her face, unsure of what she would do next. He couldn't help but smile as he looked at her and he found himself becomming more and more fond of her as time passed.

Idrial grinned at his words, also noticing his edginess. And rightly so, she had stuck him with a dagger after all. She placed an apologetic look into her face as she gaze up at him. "I'm sorry," she said with a smile. She slid her hands along his shoulders, and down onto his chest before once more draping her arms about his neck. Idrial lifted her head, her lips meeting his, this time in a deep and slow kiss, one hand wandering to the side of his face. After a few moments of this she rested her head back on the pillow. "How's that?"

Vilik sighed as she laid her head back on the pillow. "Well that was better..., much better. If you keep that up though, you'll have me wanting to spend every night like this." He leaned forward and slowly kissed her. His hands traveled back and forth from her back to her face and hair as he continued kissing her, losing all track of time as the now gentle waves and her soft lips lulled him into a trance of sorts. Before he knew it the a dull light made its way from below the horizon and found its way into the cabins window. He pulled away from her and gazed down into her eyes, still holding her tightly. "I believe we have a date of sorts we are soon to be late for. Would pleasrue me with your company above deck fair lady Idrial?"

Idrial closed her eyes for a moment as her head rested against the soft pillow. She breathed deeply a few times before reopening her eyes and meeting his gaze. She had to admit she was a little tired. "Well, at least neither of us has to face the penalty you devised for disobediance to the rules." She paused with a smile. "And yes, I would love to accompany you above deck...though, never moving from this position and sleeping for a few days straight does have an appeal to it as well." She said with a smirk as she waited for him to release her so they could rise.

Vilik cocked his head to the side in thought, "Aye, that does have its appeal dosn't it?" He laughed and stood up, taking her hands and pulling her to her feet as well. "Why don't we just go topside, watch the splendor of the rising sun, get the boat moving again and then call it a day." He smirked and opened the door for her.

The maiden stifled a yawn. "Yes, I think that sounds like a grand idea." She slipped out through the door ahead of him, and waited for him to follow before heading back up to the deck. The glow at the edge of the horizon was beginning to get brighter, and already the tops of the waters were beginning to glitter. "Well, captain," said the first mate, "I think this sunrise willl be all you expected it to be." She smiled as she glanced back over her shoulder toward him.

He came behind her and slipped his arms around her waist, planting a small kiss on her cheek before leaning back against the railing and resing his chin on her shoulder. The sun slowly broke the horrizon and the warm rays sailed across the sea, reflecting brightly off the infinite waves. Vilik breathed in the fresh salt air and smiled, "One of the best in my meomory, m'love." He tensed a bit as he realized the last words that rolled off his tongue, though they didn't surprise him as much as he would have thought.
