Idrial glanced back to him as he spoke again. Where did she want to go? That was a question that could take a long time in answer...for she was not exactly certain where all they could go. Going to Harad had been one of her few journeys away from Gondor...a journey she wished she'd been brave enough to take long ago. "Well..." she said, "what interesting places have you been too?" She laughed, "I must admit that I am not very familiar with the areas of travel." She looked up to meet his gaze.

He shrugged, "Well, I've been around. I've probably been to every last little coastal village along Gonor's coast... though I don't imagine they would intrest you much. I've been to Tharbad in Enedwaith, thats a pretty shady place... keeps you on your toes. I've never sailed too far noth, like Mithlond for example. I spent most of my time as a pirate in Grod Nuru.... ever heard of it?"

Idrial shook her head. "No, I have never heard of the place." A smirk then found its way to her lips. "You were a pirate, eh?" She reached up, draping her arms about his neck. "Sounds like an interesting life." She said with a wink. Then she paused. "Maybe we could see that place." The maiden offered a slight shrug, waiting for his opinion.

Vilik gave a suprised look when she suggested they travel to Grod Nuru, he figured it the last place she would want to see. The suprise faded into a smile, "You were not aware of my exploits in piracy? I was almost certain I mentioned it....., its how I came aquainted with our mutual friend Marcus. I was captain of my own ship before his treacherous back stabbing put me out of a job....." He laughed, "Enough of that though. If you wish to see Grod Nuru, then that is where we will go. Mind you, though, a rougher place you'll never see. You'll need to keep your wits."

Idrial's brow furrowed as she thought back to their earlier conversations. "Maybe you did mention it...and I just don't remember." She shook her head, not finding it very important whether she remembered it or not. As he spoke of wits a smile crept onto her lips. "Judging from the wound you bear on your side...it seems I am quite good at keeping my wits about me." She stepped back from him and folded her arms. "Then to Grod Nuru it is, after we resupply the ship."

Vilik smirked, touching his side. "I suppose you do have some wits about you. You were able to stick a knife in me afterall." He walked back to the stern of the boat and sat down, kicking his feet up on the railing. "Now the only thing to do is find a way to pass the time it takes to reach Gondor's coast."

Idrial meandered up to the stern as well, following him as she thought over his words. "Well," she said with a laugh, "we could always fish." She leaned her elbows against the railing, looking down into the water. "I'm sure there are plenty of those down there." The maiden pushed her blonde hair back from her face as she glanced back toward Vilik. "Unless you have a better idea...I'm certainly upon to suggestions."

Vilik laughed, "You go ahead and give it a try, I'll sit here and relax. Should be an entertaining show watching you try and catch a fish." He leaned back further, putting his hand behind his head to make himself comfortable while he watched her.

Idrial folded her arms as she looked toward him and arched a neatly shaped brow. "You think I can't catch anything, eh?" She asked, turning her back to him. With a quick glance back over her shoulder she added, "Well, just for that...maybe I won't show you my excellent fishing skills." The maiden pasted an offended look onto her face. "Now, if you'll excuse me, sir." She moved toward the railing a short distance away, and climbed onto it, leaning against one of the many poles that were all over the deck.

VIlik grinned widely as she pouted, "Oh, please forgive me. Nothing would please me more than to wittness the skill of a legendary fisherman, or woman in this case." He stood and lifted the lid to a storage compartment on the boats deck, rummaging though it untill he found an old pole and line. He smiled and handed it to Idrial. "Come now, show me your skills, I'd love a dinner of fresh fish." After handing her the pole he crossed his arms and gave an amussed smile.

Idrial glanced back toward him, curiously as he pulled a pole from the storage bin. Ah, so he did not believe her. "Fine." The maiden sighed and walked over, taking the pole from him as he gave an amused smile. She returned the smile sarcastically and walked to the edge of the boat. Climbing up onto the railing once more, she cast the line. After sitting for a few moments, she began to draw it through the water in strange, quick patterns...ones that she knew would attract the attention of different species of fish. And, as she expected, a short while after there was a bite upon her line. Idrial pulled it in, a large fish dangling from the end of the line. She glanced back toward Vilik with an 'I told you so' smirk. The maiden then unhooked the fish and dropped it back into the water. "That's for not believing me." She said as she set the pole back on the storage bin and resumed her place on the railing. It was all she could do to keep from laughing...but she kept a serious face.

Vilik watched with intrest as Idrial went about casting the line. He gave an amussed grin when she hooked and reeled it back to the boat. When she pulled it in the boat he gave an exaggerated look of suprise, "Very nice. You've proven me wrong." He then laughed as she made her comment and tossed the fish back to the sea. Looking over the railing at his lost dinner he gave a sorrowfull look, "Now what shall I have for dinner!"

Idrial glanced back over at him as he wondered aloud about dinner. She nodded toward the pole. "You can always catch your own," she said with a shrug. As she began to rise in attempt to get off the railing, her foot caught in one of the ropes. Before she had a chance to steady herself she was falling backward toward the water. Giving a cry of surprise, she landed in the cold water with a splash. Idrial quickly recovered herself, however, and began to tread water as she looked back up to where she fallen from. "Could you toss me a line?" She asked before Vilik had a chance to laugh. At least she could swim.

Vilik turned from starring at the water and his lost dinner to make a comment to Idrial but found no one there in front of him, though his confusion was cleared when he heard the splash and a gasp as Idrial fell in the water. The boat was going at a good clip and by the tme she called out for help she was already a good ways behind the boat. Vilik quickly wheeled the boat around and let the sails go slack as he approached where Idrial floated. He called out to her as he leaned over the rail stretching his hand out to her.

Idrial was quick to grasp his hand as it was offered to her. When she was pulled back on board, she quickly pushed her wet hair from her face, attempting to wring some of the water from it. "Not one word." She said as she looked up toward Vilik. A smile formed upon her features and she shook her head, looking about. "Suppose there's a change of clothes down there?" She asked, make a quick motion toward the door that led below deck.
