(Yea I dunno what Mark was talking about, with hostility going into battles. I wasn't being hostile either, just letting the whole 'Carn Dum is surrounded by mountains' fact being known, LOL. But either way, we can both be assaulted. Final word LOL unless Aaron has something to say...Well, no, Jo can say something to..but in the end it's Aaron.)
Dwar stood there, watching the Easterlings and Arnorian troops. He began to order commands to his army, watching them take positions. The Orc Archers marched up to higher ground, and taking their shortbows in hand, they loaded up poison-tipped arrows to strike any Dwarf to emerge onto the battlefield.
A dozen or so Olog-Hai continued to knock on the gates, although the Dwarven Stone would, simply put, not crack. The other Olog-Hai stood right behind their working brethren, anticipating the battle. The Giant Spiders began to fill into different hidden crevices, hiding until their chance to strike.
Behind the Olog-Hai stood the regular fighter orcs, along with the Warriors and Warlords of Carn Dum, brandishing their weapons. Behind them were the Spectres, all holding either a pike or a sword. The Revenants were right behind them, holding nothing. They killed enemies simply by cracking their will.
The Duskwraiths were near the rear, holding pale blades. They were poor substitutes for Morgul Blades, of course, but they were instead blades forged directly by Morsereg, who had cursed them to take the soul of those whom the swords destroyed, and that soul would then merge into the army of Morsereg. The Warg Riders rode to the back lines, being used only to hunt down those who escaped the grasp of their comrades. The Wain-Riding Orc Pikemen had abandoned their Wains, and stood within the ranks of the Spectres, with their solid pikes.
Dwar looked over the army, smirking devilishly. This wouldn't take long...Erebor was poorly defended...once the gates were down, they would fall.

Within moments shouting filled the air and the stone trolls were helped through the ranks for they bore a heavy burdem, the battering ram known to the Easterlings as Gurthang. It was made in the likeness of Grond with some small modifications. It was in the likeness of a great Dragon that spewed fire as it made contact with it's target. Two small battering rams were tied to the side and inseat of having flat ends they were spiked, desighned for tearing stone. The Olog Hai of Angmar were issued to come forth and after a slight nod from Dwar they began to assist the Stone Trolls, being dreven forward by the wips of the warriors of Fornost. As the battering ram began to push at the wall the assembled hosts began to chant. "Gurthang! Gurthang! Gurthang!" Even the ghastly haunts of Angmar seemed to make a reaction to the glorious destruction caused by Gurthang. Soon the gates of Erebor would fall.

The dwarves inside were bracing for the blow of the attack. The stone would soon be cleared by the trolls once the gates were down, but they would fight yet!
(uh Mark, how many men do you have here?)

(I got plenty... around 30,000 now)
The Battering ram finally pushed through the Dwarven gate and as soon as the gate crumpled, the armies backed away from the debree. An uneasy tension was in the air as smoke filled the atmosphere and all that was visible to either side was the burning eyes of Gurthang. The smoke then thinned and the dwarves found themselves staring death in the face. Troll stormed into the fray and their armor rattled in the night air. They swung their mighty maces as if the fires of Udun were feuling their movements. They flung their clubs towards the dwarves with such power that no matter how sturdy the valiant dwarves were, their front lines were broken. With a new anger the dwarves fought against the terreble beasts but as their axes were thrusted at the beasts, more warriors pushed in.
From many sides Elven warriors fired arrows into the dwarves' throats with unrivalled skill and as the armies pushed through the dwarves found a more dire reason to push their stunted bodies to the limit. Grim faced archers had made their way from the higher ground and were now flanking the approaching warriors from the hosts of Arisk and from Dwar. Ghastly screams haunted the night as the Spectres passed into the ranks delivering death as they went, their eyes glimmering like rubies. The armies of Erebor were doomed this day.

(No Wights here, Mark, LOL)
The gates had fallen, and the servants of Morsereg were sent in. The Orc Archers continued to fire from the higher ground, poison-tipped arrows felling Dwarves as they were shot. The Olog-Hai rushed in, their hammers being driven as if Morgoth was rushing them into battle.
The Orcs, and other Soldier-types, rushed in, taking up different formations, and attacking from different angles in an attempt to destroy the opponent. The spectres held their swords and pikes high, and rushed into the battle, going through the armies of Morsereg and Doren, bringing death only to the Dwarves of Erebor, and of the Iron Hills. The Orc Pikemen rushed in, impaling as they went, preferring to strike from opposite angles of the battlefield, to get the forces of Erebor squished into the middle to be destroyed.
The Duskwraiths marched in, pale blades shining. As they went they killed Dwarves, but this was nothing compared to what was to come.
The Revenants marched in, and the battle seemed to take a standstill. The air began to chill, and the great lake surrounding what had once been Lake Town near Erebor slowly froze over. The hearts of the Dwarves, while very strong, would not be able to hold up for long. Soon many wills would crack to the Revenants.

As the hosts of Erebor made their way onto the feild, the catapults were moved to the cliffs where they could best hold off Kili's dwarves. They fired down into the dwarven ranks and painted the sky a'flame. The ground shook as chaos reighned and dwarves began to fall under the weight of the flaming boulders. The aftermath of the devestating strikes to their ranks caused their small bodies to be propelled backwards, further distorting the dwarven order. The archers rushed to the trebuchets, Catapults and Onagels that were delivering destruction to the oncoming host and delivered volley after volley of flaming arrows. The Easterling commanding the archers raised his hand in signal for attack and shouted "Volley!". Arrows immediately streamed through the air and many found their marks at the necks of the dwarven warriors.
As the fighters finally made their war into the valley before Erebor where the armies were assembled, the spiders of Angmar made their way from the rocky crevices and delivered death to the dwarven hosts. Screams filled the air with a new fear and a feirce rumbling was emitting from the stony creveces in the rocky gorge standing before the great mountain. The Wainriders of Rhun and Knights of Khand turned the corner of the rocky mazes and charged into the dwarven ranks, pikes outstretched. They were garbed in Red as were all of the armies marching under the Easterling banner. They pounded through the stout dwarved ranks as the boulders and arrows were fired into their flanks causing them to cluster into the oncoming stampede of Knights and Wains.
Meanwhile smoke rose from the Lonely Mountain. The armored trolls continued to swing their clubs as they progressed towards the Lonely Mountain's chambers with the warriors of Fornost at their side aswell as Rhun's warlords. The fight was pressing against the dwarves.
Screeches filled the air and from the red sky, great shadows descended on the Lonely Mountain. Their wings spread vastly over the armies battling and their eyes shined red in the evening. They were the remnants of Rhun's dragons. Lesser than Smaug or Ancalagon but powerful in battle none-the-less. They were driven forward by Warlords of Rhun who had tamed them in their mountains and rode atop their backs as if they were flying steeds. They passed over Kili's army and instead descended into the bulk of Erebor's host. An estimated two hundred of the ferocious behemoths.

The dwarves catapults fired into the ranks in front of the dwarves host, thne the first line of dwarves smashed into the enemy line. The back line threw their small axes into the opponent host.

Arisk yelled some in some sort of foreighn language and many of the Dragon Riders turned on their flying steeds and flew once more over the hosts of Kili. The descended upon the catapults crushing many and taking perhaps two dwarves in their talons before ascending back into the air and using their feet to thrust the dwarves into their fellow warriors. They repeated these deeds descending on the catapults and crushing them one by one.
The warriors that had been delt thos blows cried out in pain. Many were injured, most delt with that fatal blow had died. The rear lines of the hosts of Arisk and Dwar turned fight with the dwarves. As the waves of axes rushed towards them they raised their sheilds and deflected many of the objects but still some found their marks within the ranks of the warriors. They surged forward with new strength and met the dwarves in combat, thrusting forth their pikes into their necks or slicing at their body with their swords and scimitars.
The Knights and Wainriders proceeded through the ranks on their golden wains, killing as they distorted through the ranks of the dwarves, catching more than they would ever have imagined within the paths of their wains and amored horses due to the flaming catapults crashing into the flanks of either of the dwarven ranks.

The dwarves of Erebor poured forth from the mountain. Their strong axes tearing through all that opposed them. Here they would die, in the shadow of their land where none would save them... They had fought valiantly, but in the end, nothing could save them...

The warriors of Rhun and of Arnor slashed at the warriors with much vigor and used their skills to dispatch the dwarves of Erebor, though the small fighters were very powerful in battle and indeed a match for the martial abilities of the Easterlings. The Dragons that had remained within the dwarves breathed flams and noxious fumes from their cavernous mouths. Their talons tore through dwarven flesh as if it were air. Already chants of victory were being roused amongst the warriors present.
The skies seemed to swirl above Erebor. They were crimson red, as were the garbs of the soldiers marching under Arisk that day. In the void Morgoth was laughing. He was laughing with each of his damned servants. In the black wind the stars shall die Many tales from that day onward said that every year after that fateful day the stars were veiled by some fell force. A legend that would live on for many years.

(Uh, maybe you could just have all the armies of Erebor destroyed here. I'm not gonna have them retreat. I thought it'd be more fair for me to judge battles if I didn't control a realm so all the rest of my forces, in Angmar, which is about 38,000 are now all under Kili's control.)

(Whatever you say mr. army count man, sir. What about Gimli? does he die here to? ((Cuz i liked Gimli.. i dont want him to die.)))
The armies of opposing Erebor roared in exitement as the final Dwarves fell. An Easterling thrusted his pike into a dwarven body and shouted in victory. All was not finished yet. The forces held their ground in Erebor and turned towards the remaining hosts of Kili. Were he and his dwarves still going to fight?

(Just a quick question, how did oyu get the dragons, i have no problem wiht you having them, it's just a matter of how oyu could get dragons)
Kilis force felt the hard blow that Erebor was taken but they still fought on, they charged toward the pike some getting through, other were not so fortunate and were speared or impalled on a pike.

(The dragons are lesser dragons not like Smaug or Ancalagon but lesser beasts that have been tamed in Rhun by the warlords and still exist in places like the mountains of Angmar and Withered Heath aswell as in locations such as Rhun. They are Rhun's monster think of them as the same principal as monsters native to realms. Such as monsters like trolls or mumaks. They aren't invincible but a good thing to have around. Aaron didnt specify yes or no..... i'm not sure what to think but if you wanna ask aaron about it go ahead. if he's not okay with it then i'll modify my posts and perhaps try and think of something else to get.)
The Wain Riders and Knights broke through the dwarven ranks but not undamaged. Many of the horsed knights were injured or had been killed but the principal of cavalry against infintry gave them the upper hand even if the stout dwarven warriors were more difficult to kill because of their stout form. The Wain Riders and Horsed knights turned once more to plow a second time through Kili's hosts.
Meanwhile the hosts within Erebor maintaned a foothold as the trolls and ghouls of Angmar were dispatched with the Easterling and Arnorien warriors towards Kili's hosts. The rear lines of Arisk's hosts had become the front lines and they swung their scimitars, swords, and falchions with a strong will to overcome the dwarven host.
