The township of the Lake-men, built on wooden stilts in the waters of the Long Lake, as a protection against the dragon Smaug, who dwelt nearby to the north.

(Yes, this was OK-ed by Aaron)
Morsereg approached Lake-Town, accompanied only by the Barrow-Wight Dwar, staff in hand. He made his way towards the edges of the town, near the lake where the skeletal remains of Smaug still rested beneath the waters. He nodded to Dwar, who kept watch as his master began his work.
He thrust his staff out, pointing over the water, and it began to stir. Water thrashed against the shores, and splashed up at Morsereg's face, cold as stone. A great cry came from the bottom of the lake, and Smaug rose. The skeletal form of the great dragon slowly rose from the waters, and soon began to take on flesh. Morsereg's eyes settled on Smaug's as they glew brightly.
The dragon's ressurection was complete, and it blew a burst of fire from his mouth, skimming across the water before stopping infront of Morsereg, who smirked, whistling. A Fell Beast swooped down for Morsereg to sit atop it, followed by Dwar. Morsereg turned his head to the Lonely Mountain, and although he whispered to himself, the words carried to Doren..."You can have Erebor."
And with that, the Mighty Dragon Smaug, along with Morsereg Dindaedel and his Barrow-Wight Servant Dwar made their way back to Angmar, leaving a trail of fear as they flew.
