"It is good to see you again as well, Lady Siranna. I must say I was suprised to see you arrived here before myself." Garland then glanced around the room, wonder just how long the Arnorian lord would keep them waiting.

Siranna chuckled. "Or possibly I just knew sooner? Anyways, I'm starting to get irritated. This is taking too long. I need to get back to my people and home for that matter."

Aragorn turned from the agitated Eomund, musing upon what could possibly be within his mind: first refusing simple passge through Rohan for his scouts, and now disdain for a council of peace. Aragorn thought quietly and said naught. Then he took from a pouch at his side his long pipe curiously carved, and he filled it with a fragrant spiced leaf, tamped and lit it, leaning back and smoking comfortably as he swilled down a large ale. He motioned to Gimli, asking if he would have aught of a smoke with him: had he brought his own or would they share? Aragorn blew a large smoke-ring down the length the table.

Gimli grinned loudly, trudging over towards Aragorn, filling his pipe from with the weed offered by Aragorn. With a reply of thanks, Gimli began smoking the indulging plant, puffing out large rings of smoke that went flying out the room, as if scurying from the discussion ready to be acknowledged by the members.
With a loud sigh, Gimli replied, "Not bad Aragorn, not bad... But I do suppose you stay well stocked on this stuff in the city no doubt?"

A Raven flew swiftly through an open window to land with grace on the shoulder of Eomund II. It appeared to be whispering to him... But no. Of course not- birds cant talk!
Or perhaps this bird has more secrets than is apparent...?

"Indeed, indeed, good stone-master," replied Aragorn to Gimli's query. "Many dark and warm halls beneath my citadel are filled with barrels of Longbottom Leaf. If ever thou shalt sojourn to my city, then there shalt thou smoke to thy heart's content, and depart laden with leaf."
Gimli's smoke-rings went lazily through the windows, but swift as a snake Aragorn blew little smoke-clouds that went through Gimli's rings with a pop! Gimli turned an eye to the man and and with hefty skill managed to blow a smoke-ring roughly shaped like his Lonely Mountain. Then the dwarf flashed a smile of content smugness, and settled back in his chair.
Aragorn looked askance and thought for a minute, then artfully blew a rapid number of tall, thin smoke clouds, little soldiers as it were, that he arranged in neat row and file, and then shot a glance at the dwarf.
But then he turned, hearing the flutter of small wings, and spied the bird perched upon Eomund's shoulder, and with his sharp hearing attempted to hear or learn what it was which this bird designed. That Eomund was of an odd deportment of late was doubtless - perhaps this bird had somewhat to do with it.

Eomund nodded gruffly, and shooed the bird oback out the window. He would get to it sooner or later, and he didnt need the constant pestering of Megloren to remind him of his task. He looked around for a moment before taking a tiny sip of ale...

Gimli nodded, watching the raven fly off. After a few good puffs on his pipe, he turned to Eomund, speaking with a mouth half filled with smoke, "You know horsemaster, in my land, the ravens have a tongue of their own, and speak with words as clear as that of men. Perhaps you too have birds of such a kind in Rohan?"

Eomund shook his head. "No no... They infest our lands from Dunland."

Upon Murazor's short speach, Ashuron threw his head back and laughed. "What a perfect way to begin a council of peace; with an accusation of one of our number," he said.

(Listen, you seriously cant go around, reading minds and being 'all-knowing.' Beck PMed me, saying she PMed Aaron about it. I suggest you stop. NO ONE knows about this. Not even you- and no, I dont care what powers you have. Oh and she didnt confirm anything. I just read the posts in Angrenost. )
Eomund shook his head. "You are the biggest fool I have ever seen! Perhaps you have had too much to drink. Sit down and stop making a specticle of yourself!" He took another small sip of ale.
