Doren's eyes widened as she suggested she should attack travellers on the Border Roads. His eyes quickly returned to their weary gaze as her question arrived. His 'course of action' would be to no realm's liking at first and certainly to no Realm Leader's. "It was just a thought. Nothing more."

Doren looked towards Namine seriously. No one could know of his motives. He couldn't even trust his own subjects, let alone members of the courts of Annuminas. None could know his intentions lest he end their lives ere they return home. "I am afraid I cannot. It is nothing that you would want to know."

"I see. Well, mayhap I'll find out one. But for now I must be off." She said and stood up. "Good day my Lord." She said and as she turned and walked away, she snapped her fingers and the water running through the foutain immediately stopped.

Doren watched the woman depart and as she passed through the gates of Annuminas he realized that she had lingered on because she too missed the beauty of Rivendell and truly hoped for happiness with her family. He pittied the woman. He knew that the loss of fullness within her family had brought on her change of heart. If the plan truly worked then beauty would reighn once more.

A couple days later Ceci walked among the streets of the city. She walked over to the fountain cryin to herself. What would she do now with mommy and daddy gone. The other men who had gone away with her father had said he didn't make it back? What did they mean not coming back? She was confused. Her momy had left her when born and now her daddy was gone too. Ceci held her doll, Tani, tightly to her and climbed onto the rim of the fountain and sat there trying to dry her tears. Wiping them as they fell.

Doren walked down the stairs of the citadel heading towards the stables.. He noticed that a young girl was crying at the fountain. He decided to approached her and took a seat beside her, resting a hand on her shoulder. "What is wrong, child?"

"My daddy didn't come back with the others. The men say he won't be coming either." She said trying to stop her tears but they wouldn't. She didn't know that he menat dead, heck, she didn't even know th term. All she knew was that her mommy and daddy weren't coming back. Though she never knew her mom, Ceci still wanted her, and now she had no family.

"Not coming back? Is he one of the soldiers? There was no major battle nothing could have happened to them. Where are the men that are saying those things?" Doren didn't quite know what was happening. The peasants were allowed to evacuate and the soldiers hadn't even been in a major battle aside from Rohan and Isengard wich weren't even allowed to progress.

Doren sighed and led the girl into the Citadel. If there was an orc raid no doubt it was on their way to Rhun through the Old Brown Lands. Berethor had to have seen something gotten word of it. Surely an orc raid would go entirely unnoticed. I'll just have to consult Berethor about these happenings another time.
As they entered the citadel Doren summoned a servant to care for Ceci if she wished it. "Would you like this lady to take you to your chambers? We will do everything that we can to find your father."

Ceci nodded. She didn'e exactly understand everything he said and she was nervouse of the lady but took her hand anyways. They seemed nice enough, she thought.
