The heart of Lothlorien. Upon this hill, there are several trees upon which the flet of former King Amroth lived while he dwelled within Lorien. From this flet, a viewer could see all of the Golden Woods in all their beauty and glory.

Following the fake Morsereg's assault on Lorien, Ashuron ascended into Cerin Amroth, from which it is said one could see all of Lothlorien. Certainly Ashuron could see the burned portion to the North. North, like Angmar, he thought, and the thought burned him worse than the fires earlier that day. It would take him awhile to sort out his thoughts of madness into rational judgement. Ashuron had time. The rest of the world could hang itself for all he cared, for now, he had to think.

[Faron]

Ashuron stood from his seated position, looking upwards into the sky. The Elven Lord mimiced his wolfish companion and howled upwards towards the night's sky. Not to the moon did he howl, for the Moon was not large enough for his purpose. He bayed the stars instead, sending his ululating cry into the air, hoping that it would strike fear into the Angmarian assault force that had burned the Golden Woods that day, but knowing that the cry wouldn't make it far into Caras Galadhon, if at all. Ashuron was sure of his course now. The mighty ship that was his life, tumbling about the river of history, had once again set its course for war. Ashuron knew what he, nay Lorien must do, they must ask aid of the other Elven races, and the other Free people of Middle-Earth as well. This Morsereg whom had burned Lorien's woods would quickly send his evil will across all of Middle-Earth unless stopped. Sauron, the Enemy of All, had never attacked Lothlorien, so this Angmarian Lord must be either stronger, greedier, or incredibly more sinister than Sauron was in times of old. Lorien needed allies that could help it traverse the evils of Moria and Arnor to reach Angmar. Ashuron's wolfish howl ended.
