Upon a plain of the Pelennor, south of the White City, a large space of grass had been plowed under into a rectangle of soft, brown sand. About this sand was set a fence of white wood, and flags and streamers ran from the poles of the fence. Pavilions and tents clustered round the field, and within the high pavilion at the center of the field's side sat the Lord Aragorn, here to moderate this the first event of the Trial of Lords. At his right hand sat his bride, the Fair Arwen Evenstar, come hither to observe the match, to have a glass of winel with her husband, and to offer advice should the match prove difficult to judge. This is the fifth of the trials in single combat, and the second fought by spellcasters. The contestants of this event are to be The Vampire Alucard, foul servant of evil, and the fearless and peerless Black Istari, Lord of Angmar, Morsereg Dindaedel. Even now they enter the field at opposing ends, and now the crowds assembled cheer for them. Bowing to one another at distance, they make their way to the Pavilion of Lords to take the Cup of Tournament, and to pay homage to the Lord of the Trials ere the event begins. Aragorn rises, and all follow his lead as the contestants draw nigh. Aragorn proffers them the Cup, they drink, and bow to all assembled, and then walk to their places at opposite ends of the field.
Aragorn drops his hand and sits, and the Fifrth Trial is begun.

Under the cloak of the night sky, Morsereg stood there silently, his gaze penetrating Alucard. He held in one hand his Morning Star, and in the other his staff. He turned to Aragorn, and nodded swiftly. Morsereg threw his staff to Aragorn, and using his free hand unsheathed his shining Morgul Blade. He stared at Alucard, and laughed softly, "Make the first move, my servant."
He hissed in approval, his bat wings spreading out wide, and his eyes flashing open. He rushed forwards, his claws flashing softly in the pale moonlight. Upon reaching Morsereg, he slashed down with one claw, following up with the other, his black hair flowing behind like a gentle river.

Morsereg brought his sword up to block each of the strikes, and then without a moment's hesitation thrust the hilt of his sword forward into Alucard, forcing him backwards. Taking the opportunity, he rose his Morning Star and swung fearlessly.
He stood up straight, grunting from the impact of the hilt, and saw the Morning Star head towards him. Without a thought, he rose his hand up and grasped the giant spiked ball in a claw, shattering one of the spikes. He ripped it out of Morsereg's arm and tossed it to the side, grasping forward with a claw to strangle him.

Morsereg ducked to the side, and began a sudden barrage of swipes at Alucard, simply to destract him as he made his way towards the Morning Star, ever so slowly, step by step.
While he did get cut a good many times, the wounds didn't bother him all that much. He drove on, following Morsereg, a sadistic glint in his eyes: He was lost in the fight now. He spun quickly, tripping Morsereg, and as he fell, Alucard pounced on him.
(Guys, do not use this RP for an example of what to do when you fight! Both characters are mine, so I basically do whatever I want in each post)

He watched Alucard come flying forward, and stuck his sword up to impale his stomach. With his free hand, he reached out and grabbed at his Morning Star, and swung mightily.
The vampire jumped off of Morsereg as soon as the sword pierced his dead flesh, and stood there, growling at his master. He stood there, and laughed, "Well, then, let's give them a real show, Master. Let's show them why we're in the Mage tournament." He laughed and threw his hands to the side, a dark sigil appearing in the night sky.

He nodded and sheathed his sword, motioning for his staff to be thrown to him, "Stage Two, Vampire. Let's give this crowd some real entertainment." He focused his magick into his staff head and his eyes blacked out, and suddenly a giant lightning bolt appeared above the arena, striking itself at Alucard. "Feel the wrath of Mandos,"
(OOC: I guess I should make a note in the Maiar Spell thing that the "Hands of Mandos the Doomsman" comes in the form of a lightning bolt...)
Alucard dodged the bolt, looking at the crispy burnt piece of land where he had stood only seconds prior. He ran towards Morsereg and as he ran, began to change. He turned quickly into a wolf, and then pounced upon Morsereg once more, digging his teeth into Morsereg's left arm.

He growled and shook his arm furiously, throwing Alucard off. Then he walked towards the beaten wolf, and unsheathed his Morgul Blade once more, pointing it at him, "Give up, you can't defeat your master."
The wolf slowly returned to the shape of Alucard, and his eyes focused on Morsereg. He nodded, and turned to Aragorn and Arwen, "I," He paused, smirking devilishly, "never give up," He turned and stabbed his arm towards Morsereg.

It was too slow, for as he saw it coming, Morsereg brought up his blade and stabbed it through Alucard's hand, and then kicked him to the ground, "I said, give up."
