"The bay does not freeze over in the winter but the waters are extremely dangerous. The port is active year-round though the winter chill does slow our progress a bit, but discussing the ports of Forochel is not why I came. I came to see that the alliance is reconstructed at any cost."

"The alliance must be constructed anew, thou art more right than thou deem, cousin," replyed Aragorn thoughtfully. "Gondor has e'er trusted in her kin to the north, and perhaps again as in days of yore Arnor and her southern sister may stand against evil. And, Megloren, now is the chance for The Lady of Isengard to show her true quality. Trust Ilmare have I never, and in Moria there is much unrest, as the obvious unease and confusion that the entrance of Lord Garland made in this Citadel some time ago. All is not well beneath the Threehorn Peak, and now from Harad I hear reports of dark doings.
We must needs be ready for aught that will come at us, 'tis true. Gondor has the ports of Pelargir and Dol Amroth, and the many headlands of Andrast. We shall not fall easily. Arnor, Isengard, and Gondor, an auspicious beginning. And if messages can be sent to Gimli, I know he shall join us. We must now wait until time is ripe. A pact to rival that of Gil-Galad and Elendil the Tall we must now forge, and swear our lives to each other in honour! Let us dub ourselves the New Alliance, in honour of the Last Alliance of old! Forever shall we stand against evil, my comrades, and though our foes' steel take us, there will be those who will take up our roles, and ever shall the New Alliance stand!"

Legolas enters the hall, approaching the throne and Aragorn seated upon it. He bows slightly to the king, and nods in respect towards Doren.
"Aragorn, I come with a request. In only three days the time of my union to E'vesash Tasolda will be upon me. Both her and I desire that you would be the one to wed us, if you are of a like mind, for we would be honored that you be present, and perform the ceremony."

Arwen smiled at Legolas and touched the arm of her husband. "Thats wonderfull news!" she said happily. (Jess and me agreed, your wedding happens before the Arwens fall thread, to give you both a nice wedding. )

"Of course shall I stand before thy union, good my friend, and pronounce my blessings upon thy marriage. Trust me beyond belief, I shall read the rites and join ye in bliss upon thy joyous day. 'Twill be my pleasure, good Legolas, for as a brother art thou unto my heart."

Legolas smiled, nodding in agreement.
"Thank you my friend. There is none I would rather see there to be with us but you and dear old Gimli. It is long since our paths led to your great city, but he also will come to be here."

Doren looked around hesitantly to the others but his departure's need was urgent. He merely bowed to Aragorn breifly and said: "Your proposal is a good one and I shall accept to it's terms. Now I must be off, my lord for I have much need to arrange my affairs."
He smiled as he turned and breifly nodded to Morsereg and Legolas before he left through the very same doors he entered. Now was the beginning of The New Alliance.
(Arrange my affairs.... hehehe. I'm gonna die and i know it! no jk.)

((Shoot.... Doren, I know your plans. You are going to let Morsereg get Arnor somehow, then make Sayyid, and rule Rhun. I read it in the saybox, am I correct?)) Megloren bowed also. "I will of course agree, though I would believe Lord Linnar will also like to join, if you dont mind. Anyway, I must be going myself." She gave a nod to Aragorn and walked out. On her way muttering to him- "Something is not right."

Lord Garland was climbing the steps of the White Citadel as He came across Doren, whom appeared to just be leaving the Citadel. Garland stopped him. "Hello old friend. It is good fortune that I find you here."

Murazor walked into the throne room , he looked ag the sun light poor in through the carefully placed gaps, as it hit the marble floor below , he walked in casting a little shadow to his right which was unusual cause the sun was shining fromt he sides, and not the back.
He looked tot he king and said "I ride here , to sort out any differences we may have , be it my decent from melkoe oe the incident at Mithlond , and to renew our alliegence to each other, what say you "

Aragorn walked to where the Lord of Rivendell stood, and offered him his hand in friendship. He bowed before him.
"Good Murazor, an it please thee to forgive what must surely have seemed a betrayal. We shall not speak of thy motives against Mithlond now. Suffice it to say that I could not be certain in conflicting reports of thy intent, and could not in good conscience offer Imladris my aid. But, be comforted in the knowledge that neither did I aid the snake Ilmare. Her words are poison, and I shall not heed them. I would welcome thee to the New Alliance which Gondor, Arnor, and Isengard have formed, and with us in honour shall thou stand. Take my hand in comradeship, and let us be reconciled."

{ ~~~ some time after... }
Aragorn stormed into his Citadel, after seeing Murazor of Rivendell in his city in the guise of his wife. All they that had recently been to see the High King had departed to their homes, and he was alone in his hall as his dear bride was without with her embroidery. Aragorn slammed his fist into a pillar upon the wall, and then walked to his throne, where he sat deep in thought.

After a few hours Arwen came into the Citadel and walked into the hall. She found her husband deep in thought and his face showed an expression which made her shiver. Silently she came closer and wasn't sure if she should talk to him or better leave it.

Morsereg entered the citadel, approaching Aragorn. He bowed to him, and looked up slowly, "Lord Aragorn, I have a request. Murazor of Rivendell has taken my daughter..." He had a blood-bond with his family, if the concentration was put into it he could find them no matter what, "and I am about to bring war to his doorstep. I need to ask of you, either to stay out of this, or to aid me. I attack not for death, but to bring my daughter back. What say you, my lord?"
