Ashuron's private rooms, a small house built around the mid-section of a tree. Within the house exists a row of books on almost every subject known to the Elves of Lothlorien.

A Dwarven scout from Erebor rushed up to Ashuron's study, breathless. "M'Lord, King Orre sends his tidings in these dark times and requests that you consider..." He pulled a piece of parchment out of his cloak, "this."
It read-
"King Ashuron. A few days have passed since our meeting in the Citadel of Minas Tirith. We indeed have our differences, which is to be expected with the Elves and Dwarves. Yet... darkness and shadow covers Arda now. No one can deny this. Erebor is being attacked. If I believed it was a hopeless cause, I would not ask you for aid. But I believe we can win. The Dwarves come to you for aid, King of Lorien. We would and do honor our alliance made on that day in Gondor. Will you?"

Ashuron let out a jovial laugh. "Of course we will honor our alliance. Go back and tell your Lord that we shall march for war today." With that, Ashuron summoned forth one of his captains and said to him, "Muster the army, for we march to battle. Oh and," Ashuron added with a smile, "Tell the soliders to count their kills. I want Lothlorien to have the highest counts of kills." The captain bowed and left.

The messenger let out a loud chuckle and nodded. "Bring all you can, Lord Leafbow... This battle will be a big one. I can feel it! Gondor and Mirkwood are expected to join also... And worry not about Moria. They have not the strength to win over both Erebor AND Lorien!" He gave another gleeful chuckle and sprinted down the staircase and into the wood.
