Lancir blocked the swrod nad jumped the kick at his shin but while Garland was preoccupied with his sword Lancir stabbed at the back of his neck with his dagger.

When Garland's foot missed Lancir's shin it caused him to lurch forward and down a little, luckily causing the blade flying towards his neck to miss. Garland then dashed away from Lancir, sheathed his broad sword and pulled his bow - holding it in the same hand his short sword was in. He knocked an arrow and aimed it at Lancir's chest. He did not release the arrow yet, though, giving Lancir the opportunity to lay down his blade and forgo being peirced by yet another arrow.

He sheathedh is blade nad waked up to Garland and put his hand out
"Do not worry I really give up"

Garland lowered his bow and put away his weapons, glad the fight was over for he was sure he wouldn't of lasted much longer. He took Lancir's hand and shook it. "You fought well, my friend. I will not soon forget the wounds you gave me today. Now, lets go have an ale!"
