"Its worth a try," he said and pushed the girl against the wall, nailing her with the tip of his sword. He blocked the entry and pulled her on her arm with him to the horses, sheathing his sword. With a swift, strong grip he pushed the woman onto the top of his steed and mounted behind her. His hand hold tight in her hair, so she couldn't jump of the horseback and a knife tip was now pressing against her ribbs. "Just stay with me for a little while." he said and gave the horse his heels.

Katherin squirmed, attempting to get away from him before she felt the knifetip against her garments. Garments through which it could easily pierce. "Wretch!" She cried as she sat there motionless, except for the steady rhythm of the horse. Her breathing slowed as close to normal as it would get for the time being, and she stared angrily at the ground. If only there was some way she could get away...some way she could get down. But she knew for the moment, there was no way....although, as soon as the opportunity presented itself, she would try.

The horse run down the streets of Minas Tirith, followed by a host of Winged Guards. The hoofes of the steeds slipped over wet stone and Dorlas managed it somehow to beware his steed before falling in the many turns of the street.

Katherin twisted her hand in the horse's main to keep herself from sliding to her death...or at least serious injury. She watched the people as they scattered to get out of the way. Luckily, all of them made it. "Why don't you just let me go?! You are far enough ahead that they would not catch you, were you to slow down and let me off."

He laughed bitterly. "You are kidding, right? We aren't yet through the main gate. You will get off soon enough, don't worry."

Katherin shuddered at his chilling laughter, and she hoped he hadn't noticed. After a while longer of riding at a fast pace through the streets, she could begin to make out the main gates up ahead. Why weren't the guards able to catch up with him? She was beginning to lose a bit of her faith in the Gondorian Guard.

The guard of the gate saw the upcomming riders and commands were shouted to close the wings. Dorlas cursed them and turned his horse into a little street aside, jumped off his mount and pulled the women at her hair with him.The horse pranced and run off. Dorlas rushed into a hidden courtyard entrance and shove a hand over the girls mouth.

Katherin gave a muffled cry, but none would have been able to hear it though the hand that was clamped over her mouth. And oh her hair! She would not have been surprised were he to pull some out, but luckily it had all stayed in tact for now. Once they were inside the entrance, she grabbed his arm and bit the hand that was covering her mouth.

Dorlas grunted as her teeth pinched into his skin, but he knew worse pain than that. As a gratitude he punched her with the other hand against her chest and throw her a warning glance to be silent. The Guards dismounted and started to search. Dorlas pulled his sword and waited.

Katherin gasped for breath as the wind was knocked from her, and she collapsed against the stone wall. Her breathing was labored, and she hoped against all odds that none of her ribs had just been broken. But, maybe that wasn't quite so likely...it had only been a punch. She reached up and wiped the beads of sweat from her forehead with the back of her hand, trembling in her struggle to find a more comfortable position.

The guards dismissed the spot where they stood and Dorlas shove the woman into the courtyard and made her climb on a stair back to a higher level of the street. There he pulled her into a sheep stable. "Well, we wait a little bit. As soon as I am out of the city walls you are free to go." He shut the door and looked at her. "Don't think you could escape. And if you try to scream I cut your throat. Understood?"

Katherin rolled her eyes at him...a daring move considering the position she was in. "Clearly understood." She all but spat at him as she steeled herself against a wall to sit, still attempting to gain her breath. She pulled her knees to her, resting her chin upon them as she stared off into the darkness of the building.

Dorlas didn't care about her eye rolling as long she did it quietly. He sat down with his back to the door and looked at her as if he had to decide something. His hand played with the hilt of his sword in thoughtfullness and he didn't say a word.

Katherin kept to herself in silence for a while, before she noticed him watching her. Sliding herself about to fully face him, she raised a brow. "Can I help you with something?" She asked sarcastically, repeating her comment from earlier when they'd been in the pub. Oh well, this is what she got for consorting with some of the people that came to the White Tower pub.

Dorlas stared at her, but he was deep in thoughts far away in time and place. When the woman asked him, he dived up from his memories and was for a moment puzzled. "Guess your doing it right now. But thank you for asking," he smirked.
