"Well, I's was o' a min ter pay the cap'n sommat exta ter allow his men a'fix 'is ship, but as 'is firs' mate 'ere - 'at fellow yonder, as stole me rum - 'as short'n'd him, we'll be on our way. To Umbar take us, good cap'n! Ye'll be handsomely rewarded upon our arrival - both this 'ere Elf and I 'ave some good contacts 'ere. But 'is girl..." he turned to Ash and lowered his voice, "Not sure that we should take her with us am I; we have a mission to attend to, and she would only hamper its doing. What say thee to that, and what be thy thoughts?" Aragorn drew his long sword quickly, and with a flick snatched the rum bottle from Marcus' hands as he raised it to his lips, and soon the bottle was tipped into Aragorn's mouth.

Marcus smiled as the King took the bottle of rum. If the king wanted the little bit of slobber that was left in the bottom after he had finished the rum, he was welcome to it. His smile widened as the two worked at getting rid of the girl. "And so 'ats the chivalry a the king a Gondor..." He looked at the girl and laughed, "Looks ta me he'd just as soon leave ye with a shipfull a pirates."

Idrial folded her arms and scowled in the direction of Marcus. "Anyone in their right mind wouldn't leave a girl on a shipfull of murderous pirates." She combed a hand quickly through her hair as she glanced toward the two. "Please," she pleaded, "you cannot just leave me here. I can be of help to you, whatever your journey entails."

"I really cannot see what help you would be or what skills you could give us that either of us doesn't already possess. Therefore, it really is in your best interest to get off at the Port of Umbar and walk around that port smiling at passer-bys instead of coming with us to your certain doom," Ashuron said to Idrial.

The crew hoisted the sails and soon the Leviathan was underway. There was a strong wind at their back and the ship skimmed through the water with astonishing speed. It wouldn't take long to reach the City of the Corsair's at this clip.

Aragorn looked at Ash and then at Idrial.
"Mayhap her appearance in this venture was not by chance. It may be that we should be destined to take her with us. At the least, if we are to pay for her release, we may as well let her come and she if she shall be of use. If not, then we can turn her loose when we please."

"Very well then, but it's your job to look after her and make sure she doesn't get killed while I'm busy working for the good of Middle-earth."

Idrial glanced toward the elf with somewhat of a frown. "I am not a child to be constantly watched. I can take care of myself....though I do thank you for deeming me worthy to accompany you on your journey. And I'll do my best to make myself useful." She was quick to add. The maiden seated herself upon the railing of the ship, supporting herself with her arms as she glanced over her shoulder toward the open waves.

"Right, if you say so. Just don't cause any problems." Ashuron walked to the back of the ship, where a messanger bird of Lothlorien deposited a letter in his hand. The letter contained news of the recent attack on Isenguard and Megolren's call for aid. Ash used the inclueded pen to quickly write, I couldn't care less at the moment on it and handed it back to the bird to return to Lorien's ruling council.

After another day and a half of sailing the coast of Harad could be seen on the horizon. The crew navigated the ship into Umbar's huge harbor and brought the ship alongside an empty warf. The crew worked at lowering the sails and tying lines to the dock.
