On the northern shore of the Gulf of Lhun lies the port and town of Forlond. The town bustles with trade from all over Middle Earth. All are welcome in this town, where the black market thrives. Many rare items can be purchased from the street vendors for the right price.

a small ship came, maned by one man, curtus, and docked at the port of forlond, he steped out of the boat, and headed into the town, his sword at his side, and a dagger hidden in his clothes.

Marcus sat on a barstool in Forlond's tavern. Beside him upon the ground lay an unconsious man he had just gotten into a quarrle with. It had been some weeks hence that his ship had gone down, crew presumedly lost to sea, and Marcus sat at the bar quite drunk, as he had been since his arrival in Forlond.

Marcus looked down a bit crosseyed at the dagger, thinking it was being held by the man he'd been quarrling with earlier. "I thought, you'd had enough you son of a..." He pushed away the mans arm, but in doing so lost his balance and went tumbling of his stool, falling backwards and knocking his head against the floor. When he opened his eyes he jumped in fear, thinking to have seen a ghost perhaps, he then stood and poked Curtus with his finger. "Aye!, ye be alive, cap'n!" He then gave a crooked grin. "About time ya shows up. Have a drink!" Marcus grabbed the shoulder of the man sitting next to him at the bar and pulled him backwards off his stool, taking his mug as the man fell and passing it to Curtus.

"I am alive, and so are you, but i am almost shure we are the only ones who lived! but all the crew shall be replaced, and once more we shall pilliage villiages, and be feared!" he took the drink, and drained it at once, and put the dagger back in his clothes, so that it was hidden from veiw.

Marcus looked around the tavern. It was full of the sort of low-lifes they were in need of. He cleared his throat. "Any of ye boys lookin fer fast money and adventure and know yer way around a boat, stand up now and pledge yer loyalty te cap'n Curt ere an we'll be takin ya aboard! Aye, who's a commin!"

43 of the people in the bar stood, and said they were willing to follow the man, and after that they left the bar, and all headed to the docks in the grey heavens.
