The fortress of Morigost stands on the very tip of the Maegond Spur that crawls outward onto the plain of Gorgoroth. This was a place that was ever vigilant for spies of the enemy. Across the gap from Morigost stood the fortress of Nargroth wich held a large garrison of orc soldiers. Between them none could enter Gorgoroth without the knowledge of the Dark Lord. Morigost was built into a small natural opening in the topmost peak of this small mountain. It was like an eye that always kept watch on the plain of very great dread.
