Little is known now of this dark valley in the south of Mordor. It is whispered that those that enter this valley never return. It is also beleived that a great brood of spiders dwelt there during most of the Third Age of Middle Earth. It is said that these spiders were the offspring of Shelob and that they survived and travelled south into the this dreaded valley of spiders.
